joedenise what a lovely feeling to have to eat more because you are in danger of losing :rotfl:. It's a very fine balance when you are maintaining and I can imagine in some ways it is harder than losing.
It is a lovely feeling but it's also very hard trying to eat extra syns when you've got used to not having them. I'm not a big chocolate or crisp eater but do treat myself with the salted and caramel popcorn from time to time.
Your right about it being a very fine balance maintaining but I've done quite well over the last year until a couple of weeks ago when I had a massive 3.5lb loss and have no idea why (I've always been one to lose 0.5 or lb a week in the past!) which is what took me to almost bottom end.
I'm still trying to decide whether to weigh or not this week - may leave it until next week and then I have a week before my final WI to get back in target range if I've dropped out (but hopefully not) before I go on holiday.

Morning everyone. Welcome Sandra and congrats to everyone who's posted a loss, there's a lot on this page so well done!
WI tonight and I know a lot of us are Tuesday groups so hope we all get some nice numbers too. If I get 1.5lb off that'll be my 1.5 stone award, and 2.5lb would get me my Club 10. Really hoping for at least one shiny from tonight
I'm not sure exactly how much I need to lose, but not many lbs to lose to become officially overweight and not obese too!!
We finally had the stuffed courgette last night, after it being postponed due to hubby's sickness at the weekend. I got given a round one so cut out the middle and stuffed it with veg and some quorn meatballs and had some mozzarella on top. It was really nice so thanks to those who mentioned the idea! I'm trying hard to be more creative with my cooking now we can't have the nights where we just bung chips and something in the oven or ring dominos :rotfl::heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Morning,
Frogga a plan of attack is always the best way – I love a good plan: ):T
Lol – Avoid Frogga in February then!:T Thanks MasieMouse ! Yes feeling slightly more like a normal person today (whatever that is) – I was like a bag of cats yesterday. Had a night off everything on the sofa last night and a tv catch up. Only problem is I get bored and start texting people I shouldn't ahem!! Must get on the green tea to try and avoid the water retention bloat – can’t see this o.5 lb coming off on Thursday at all!!
Meg72 – That was a lot of chopping lol - well done for being organised!! Meg I am an inch taller than you and 5 lbs heavier. I would be interested to know what your target weight is? If you don’t mind me asking? You can’t have much more to go either!!
Crabapple – Have you tried porridge, I don’t eat cereal but the very odd time I would take a notion and have porridge and think it definitely fills you up better! I even throw it into some yogurt. I am definitely getting on this stuffed courgette malarkey !! I was watching something the other day - no idea now but it said that you are better to buy small ones - I dunno as they have more flavour! I'm full of useful knowledge today !! lol :rotfl:
Olderbutnotwiser- I can’t keep scales in my house coz I would be on them and off them but I do weigh myself when I’m over at my mothers – it’s a very hard habit to break. I weighed on Saturday and then again yesterday and I was 5 lb heavier yesterday than Saturday - which only reinforces why you shouldn't do it - to avoid the head melting if nothing else!!
Blueeyedgirl – There must be something about weddings – the week I went to my sisters wedding I lost 2 lbs and prior to that had sts for 7 weeks – maybe it’s the dancing lol
I was very sad to hear the news about Robin Williams this morning. Mrs Doubtfire is one of my favourite films and as a big sufferer of the black dog my heart goes out to him and his family. It is a horrible, horrible illness and if nothing else hopefully his death will bring some much needed attention and understanding .

Congratulations on your little one! By the looks of things you also have an older child so with them running around all day and the lack of sleep of a newborn it's no wonder you are tired!
I've always been told that your body will find what it needs to make the milk. If you lose weight very fast (which is a bit awkward to judge early weeks as you will lose fast) then it may be that you are causing problems for yourself but probably not for baby x
So, I normally have breakfast cereal HEB, 2xHEA for milk on my cereal and tea/coffee through the day, alpen lights HEB, a wholemeal roll or slice of wholemeal toast with my luch HEB and often have some soft cheese at lunchtime too, either mozzarella with salad or light philadelphia on the bread HEA, and dinner is always heavy on the veg but I'll often put some cheddar or similar grated on top for another HEA.
Exactly how many you should be eating depends on the age and weaning status of baby but that's in the pregnancy and breastfeeding book. I think technically I should be having 8 at the mo but I do struggle to get that many in.
Make sure you eat lots of free food as well, including protein sources and of course drink lots of water and you will do fine
Thank you for this, I will try an incorporate more cheese into my diet maybe even as a snack. Judging by the way I have been inhaling my dinners I think I'm not eating and drinking enough during the day. The evening is always when I want to pig outDD born 14/12/11

L- Sweet chilli fish stick noodles (prawns have got very expensive can anyone recommed some where to get them from)(also need to go out and get some sweet chilli sauce at lunch time)

So speed food total for today is 10 so far.0 -

Well, I don't want to discuss yesterday. Or the weekend before it for that matter. Whilst I had a lovely time, it just underlined how off track I am with my own goals in life, compared to pretty much everyone I know.
So I fell into a barbecue/takeaway/fruity cider/peanut pit of self pity for a few days.
Desperate attempt to get back on track today and for the rest of the week.
Interim weigh in has really depressed me, but there's only one person going to turn it around and frankly, my weight is one of the few things I am solely responsible for dealing with, so, the excuse book has gone in the recycling and I'm starting again, again. I'm not going to even try and claw it back as I'd need about three weeks worth of syns and I will only depress myself more if I deprive myself that much.
B - Scrambled egg and mushrooms then a handful of strawberries to up the SFs
D - Some kind of salad, probably tuna or ham
T - SW savoury mince with broccoli and asparagus
Snacks - fruit and superfart soup
Syns - 4 for reduced fat cheese in the egg, already had half my milk. 2 for an options later.
HEXA - Milk
HEXB - Ryvita minis or a benefit bar
BM - walk out to the post office later and the floors all need sweeping and washing.0 -

Hi All -- reporting a 3lb weight loss over the last two weeks taking me to my 2st award in just 16 weeks!
That's despite the worst week ever last week. So I am really pleased and determined to be very good this week to keep up the good work. Only 3lb to go to get under another stone which is always a big psychological barrier.
Keep up the good work everyone.xJuly 16 £95/£200

I'd echo that. In the three years I've been at target I've never gone out of range at the top end ever but have paid a few times for falling off the bottom. After this recent holiday though I've found it harder to lose the gain. I think it's because I've had a round of social things and I've got out of the habit of choosing wisely when out.:( I'm thinking I might just weigh and go at a local group tonight. Tomorrow's our wedding anniversary so I'd like to know how I'm doing before I start wrecking it again.Well, I don't want to discuss yesterday. Or the weekend before it for that matter. I completely agree. It helps me massively to be in control. It also has the spin off for me in that when I'm pleased with myself because of that it helps me attack other tasks as well.
I'm defrosting one of the freezers this morning. I do keep some 'naughties' in there for when I'm at the bottom of range and no meals out planned. Trying to ignore DH's favourite M&S pie and numerous YS Indian/Chinese. I dare not let them defrost or I might me forced to eat them!
My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, fried eggs, HEA milk
L: cold chicken, fried veg, picklesSW Spaghetti Bolognese
Syns: squirt of HP sauce, scrape of Parmesan (hopefully can be counted in HEA if I don't have too much tea).0
