Thanks for the 'well done' s, but it's easy to lose a lot when you're 6 st overweight :o

I really want cake at the moment. This always happens :o Shall try to resist, but I'm thinking , 'what the hell' at the moment. I'm 6st overweight for flip sake, I might as well eat cake :(

I know it's not the same but could you try making the SW fruit roulade? You can eat the whole cake for 1/2 syn (or free if you leave out the baking powder):D.

Today is not going all that well food wise. Breakfast was branflakes with milk. Since then I've had a bread roll with butter in (was wholemeal at least) and a caramel filled chocolate.

Strangely I don't feel that hungry! I need to do better though so off to try and cook some dinner. Not entirely sure what I'm going to make although it will have lots of veg in it as I am a bit light on free food today :rotfl:

Have been out to the shops with the kids (does herding a 2 year old count as BM for the day - certainly raised my blood pressure!). Toddler needed new shoes and wellies thanks to growing feet, and I ended up buying her a cuddly toy as well (like she doesn't have hundreds of those already!) and some more pjs. I bought myself a paper shredder. Baby got nothing but he doesn't really need anything. Then we went to Tesco for milk, yoghurts & veg, and various snacks for toddler that I can't eat.

Hugs to those that need them.

Am in a better mood as I met my pal for a pot of tea and we made a plan. We're meeting up again in 3 weeks, just before I go back to school, and I'm hoping to have lost another 11lb by then so then I'm back in the next stone again.

Thanks for the encouragement Maman  I know it can be done, and I know I can do it. This will be my 7th or 8th big loss :o The chubbiest I got to was 21st, and the lowest I got was 12st 2lb. I guess I'm nowhere near the 21st at least :D but nowhere near the 12 either :( ~At least I do lose it quickly. I wish I could lose it by the weekend, or maybe next Tuesday, but I guess I'll have to accept it may take a little longer ;)

Hope you get you tooth fixed TIE. Mine is still proper hurting. But I'm not one to moan or make a fuss so you probably haven't heard about it? :D

You made me think when I looked at your menu Crabbyapple. When I have cereal for breakfast, I'm really really starving by 9am! The stingy little amount that is 40g doesn't even cover the bottom of the bowl :( I'm only satisfied if I have a big cooked breakfast, but I shouldn't really do that everyday. I'm trying to cut down on the food bills. Trouble is, I then get hungry, and 'look' for food. Is cereal enough for you? I think I'm just VERY greedy

Welcome Slimwriter  Are you American? Americans tend you say their weight in lb's. I'm too thickie to work it out, would you tell me in stones? Then I can understand the task ahead :D

Lantanna sorry to hear your suffering with PMT. I can't empathise as Frogs only spawn once a year. I'm a miserable 6itch in February though ;)

Am hopping off now to amaze myself with my general knowledge when watching Pointless :p

  • Hi all,
I've had a bit of a challenging day but seeing others I now feel I've been let of lightly!
Woke up at 4am by my car alarm strangely going of then at lunch time my boss called me to say my wipers are going and hazzards, she thought my car was possessed! Forced to use half a days holiday and spent £70 all for driving through a puddle!!
Also my scales wouldn't work this morning, I know it's not meant to be a good idea but I weigh myself every morning:o I did throw my scales away once and put on a stone in three months.
Weigh in tomorrow so trying to be extra good.
B- overnight oats with frozen fruit
L-viggie pasta with small sprinkle of pine nuts
D- Chicken stir fry with egg noodles
    Snacks melon, apple and freddo
    LBM- finally kicked in 16/12/08 @ [strike]£41,862 [/strike] £0.00/ DFD- 24/12/13 :D

spent a happy couple of hours sitting in kitchen making five fruit salad for the freezer as had the morrisons vouchers for free fruit and veg. Result I now have 16 portions in freezer. I used melon.nectarine, kiwi,
grapes and blueberries. Still have a couple of pineapples to do but I think they need more time to ripen up. So will stick them in a bag with a ripe banana for a few days.

Does anyone do their own kidney beans using the dried packs, if so Tesco have 500g packs on offer at 3 for £2.00. so 67p a pack, you get the equivalent of 5 cans from a pack, so 13p a can. Cheapest I can get a ready can is asda KTC 4 for 1.00 offer. so roughly half the price.

I really wanted their their roscoco beans as want to make sugar free baked beans but they are out of stock.

I found I was getting really hungry late morning, but I wasn't weighing my branflakes and when I started to again I realised I was really stingy with my portions. 35g does seem to cut it for me, yes! I tend to have some fruit with my toddler mid-morning to tide me over til lunch.

I've never really been a big fan of breakfast though, my snacking and eating rubbish has always been in the afternoon and for my dinner.

I should say though, I'm not on the standard plan because I'm breastfeeding so I get a lot of HEX foods to get me through the day :o
