Hi all
Not a great day Sunday- had to do an emergency unexpected dash to Nottingham (for good reasons though) so I fell off the wagon
had a packet of Metcalfes Skinny Topcorn (not bad, about 6 syns) plus a naughty cheese pastry from Sainsbugs..
was supposed to go to the gym but didn't- am going to try and go today. However just had some awful news that a friend (not a close friend but still someone I considered a friend) has less than 24 hours to live. That's sort of knocked the stuffing out me a bit but I might force myself to go to the gym tomorrow as I've been too naughty this week and I don't want to descend into enormous weight gain once more!
Life's too short, people. Enjoy it while you can.
Night all x
Edit- my friend died at 12.50 am. Can't believe itsorry to be so morbid- just can't believe it
Mrs R - so sorry to hear your news0 -
Hi all
Thanks for your kind words.
Little upset today, I've had a little cry this morning. I haven't known him long but he was a lovely guy, very funny and positive- and he was only 43 the same age as my partner.it brings back memories of losing my dear close friend earlier this year which I still have never got over
I was going to go gym today as home scales showing a 1.5 gain but I'm not really in the frame of mind nowmight go for a walk later though.
Thanks again everyone xx*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

I'm doing EE mostly because I can't be bothered trying to figure out what I can and can't have and I got into quite a good routine that works for me. I must have my coffee and tea so that takes care of HEA. I have mostly been have wholemeal bread as my HEB as a sandwich during week or as toast for breakfast at weekends. Then it's really easy to make dinner and sandwich fillings with any combination of other free foods, with addition of a few syns for butter or mayo.Mortgage

So sorry to hear your sad news MrsR. Life's been hard for you lately.:)
Tough one wiz.My food for today. Not enough fruit and veg. Off to snack on raw cabbage in a bit (pray for my household)
Breakfast- 1 muller lite
Lunch- open sandwich with egg mayo, made with 2 eggs and 1 tbsp of lighter than light mayo (1/2 syn), on 1 piece of wholemeal Hovis (1/2 a HEb). 1 packet of Morrison's Crunchy Fries (4 syns)
Dinner- Quorn fillets with roast potatoes and cabbage (cabbage and pots done with Frylight) and gravy (Bisto veggie gravy- counted 1.5 and hope that's right? That is the indicated amount for meat granules, and I imagine veggie is the same?).
Snacks- 2 oranges, quick nibble of icing from my son's cake (naughty, but worth it! 4 syns-ish), sparkling water, 1 Diet Coke, raw cabbage, 1 1/2 sugars in tea (1 1/2 syns), splash of milk in three cups of tea (HEA- not the full amount but oh well...)
Syns- 11 1/2
To answer your question from yesterday then it's fine to split your HEXs and it's 2 Alpen Lights for a HEB. I think when you said you are a pescatarian my head thought 'no meat so doing Green'. I can see that EE can be simpler but on days when you don't have any fish either then Green would give you the advantage of extra HEXs.
I'm another that doesn't find it expensive to eat SW. I think that's partly because I do most of my shopping in Aldi and having a good meal plan (good mse idea anyway but essential for SW IMO) means I only buy what I need and there's no waste.
:Ton your loss frogga. Just show's it can work if you want it to. Lantanna's just coming up for her 6.5 stone award (that's before she had the Indian.;)).
My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk
L: going to snack on fruit as planning early supperfish, cauli & broccoli cheese, new potatoes
Syns: cheese sauce (some offset by HEXs)0 -
Hi all
Hugs to the people who have lost folk close to them recently. It's testament to how strong you are that you can keep going with something like SW. Well done :T
My green menu today:
B: Scrambled egg, fruit and fibre with sliced banana and milk (A1) (B1) hot water with lemon (any syns in the juice?!), coffee with milk (A1)
L: Mushy pea curry with added chick peas and garden peas, brown riceSW ratatouille with wholemeal pasta and grated cheese (A2)
Snacks: Fruit, muller light, FF fromage frais, Alpen Light (B2)
Syns: 1 x square clotted cream fudge (3?), drizzle of honey on fromage frais (1).
Drinks: Coffee with A1 milk, green tea, hot water with lemon, water.
Weigh in day for me tomorrow, not expecting a big loss as it's * week.
