:EasterBun
Am in a better mood as I met my pal for a pot of tea and we made a plan. We're meeting up again in 3 weeks, just before I go back to school, and I'm hoping to have lost another 11lb by then so then I'm back in the next stone again.
Thanks for the encouragement Maman  I know it can be done, and I know I can do it. This will be my 7th or 8th big lossThe chubbiest I got to was 21st, and the lowest I got was 12st 2lb. I guess I'm nowhere near the 21st at least
but nowhere near the 12 either
~At least I do lose it quickly. I wish I could lose it by the weekend, or maybe next Tuesday, but I guess I'll have to accept it may take a little longer
Hope you get you tooth fixed TIE. Mine is still proper hurting. But I'm not one to moan or make a fuss so you probably haven't heard about it?
You made me think when I looked at your menu Crabbyapple. When I have cereal for breakfast, I'm really really starving by 9am! The stingy little amount that is 40g doesn't even cover the bottom of the bowlI'm only satisfied if I have a big cooked breakfast, but I shouldn't really do that everyday. I'm trying to cut down on the food bills. Trouble is, I then get hungry, and 'look' for food. Is cereal enough for you? I think I'm just VERY greedy
Welcome Slimwriter  Are you American? Americans tend you say their weight in lb's. I'm too thickie to work it out, would you tell me in stones? Then I can understand the task ahead
Lantanna sorry to hear your suffering with PMT. I can't empathise as Frogs only spawn once a year. I'm a miserable 6itch in February though
Am hopping off now to amaze myself with my general knowledge when watching Pointless
Great minds think alike I googled this cake as seemed to good to be true, but it is, must give this a go.

Recently was diagnosed with osteo arthritis in my foot, told there's no cure, and decided to help myself by losing the weight I know I should lose anyway. So, I've been following the SW plan for about 5 weeks, lost 11lb and am very happy with that. However, since I followed the plan in 2008 when I lost 3.1/2 stone, Extra Easy has been added and I was interested to know what was involved. Pleased to say, a quick Google search brought me here. However, because I've been doing well on the green and red days plan I'm a bit nervous about doing EE because it looks too easy and I'm concerned that I'm misinterpreting it. However, I'll give it a go this week and see what happens.
FYI - I am 5'3" and currently weigh 181lb. I am hoping to lose about 7lb per month and get down to about 163lb by Christmas.
I'll probably end up being a lurker, but rest assured I am really grateful for any hints and tips I read.
I also have arthritis and was the reason to lose the exess weight, I am also 5ft3in and was 182lbs now down to 142lbs and honestly it has made such a difference, although I still get some pain it is nothing like it was, sometimes I just used to sit in the bath and cry, now I just get the odd day when it flares but even then is no where near as painful.Slimming World at target0 -

Thanks so much for responding with this message. It's an extra incentive to know that I can look forward to less pain in my foot if I lose weight.Start weight 13st10 (on 06/07/14) - 1st Goal 11st9 (by 14/12/14 - 23 weeks)

You are more than welcome love, I watched my dear Nan and Mother suffer with this and just decided that was not going to be for me, My Doctor keeps offering drugs but I wont take them, they only work for so long. Hes also suggested knee replacement but they only last around 10 years, and at one year off 70 don't fancy having another op when I am 80.
Theres lots that we can do to help ourselves, google and read everything you can for self help with arthritis.Slimming World at target0 -
I found I was getting really hungry late morning, but I wasn't weighing my branflakes and when I started to again I realised I was really stingy with my portions. 35g does seem to cut it for me, yes! I tend to have some fruit with my toddler mid-morning to tide me over til lunch.
I've never really been a big fan of breakfast though, my snacking and eating rubbish has always been in the afternoon and for my dinner.
I should say though, I'm not on the standard plan because I'm breastfeeding so I get a lot of HEX foods to get me through the day
Hi, I have been lurking and am new to sw, been doing it two weeks. I have a 9 week old that I'm breast feeding and just wondered what you use all your HEX on. I only tend to have milk with my cereal and tea and some Alpen lights. I have been getting very tired though so am a bit worried that I'm not eating enough. Also worried about my milk being affected xDD born 14/12/11

Been having a play with oil in a spray, a tsp of vegetable oil is 2syns.I have put some of the oil that I have in stock and want to use up, fry light is I find quite expensive and I do want to do slimming world within my low budget.
I have a small spray , out of a pound land kit for taking stuff on an aircraft. I have put my oil, crisp and dry. in this, and measured how many sprays I can get. I have found that I get 5 sprays to a quarter teaspoon, only a 1/4 of a syn. Wont be buying fry light anymore because the oil gives a much better resultSlimming World at target0 -

I'm only 46 so it's a bit annoying thinking I could have another 50 years of it. I've found that wearing flats and making sure I have plenty of room in my shoes (by going up from a 5, that I've always worn, to a 6) has already helped considerably. Like you, I don't want to take pain killers if I can help it.Start weight 13st10 (on 06/07/14) - 1st Goal 11st9 (by 14/12/14 - 23 weeks)
