I potted another £10 today, I have to say I'm so impressed with all these totals and I hope to be among the mega savers next year too, although it will be my first year so we'll just see how it goes

Well done on your total Sue-UU. That's an amazing amount too

A tip for getting into the tins that need a tin opener, without a tin opener.... stab the side of the tin with a pair of scissors and then you can cut the metal. Watch your fingers though

I have found a giving tree type of campaign closer to home. Its in my local Police Station and they have a list of 261 children in care that they want presents for

Yes please to the thread bumping, Lynne!!!! If this year's anything like the last 6 they keep us waiting for quite a while. I'm hoping it'll be quicker this year as I couldn't have put the date up anymore than I did! We'll see! (Now then, onward....)

Congratulations to you and well done on saving the £2s, they capture us all in their spell!!!!! :dance::T:dance: I e-mailed sparky 2 or 3 months ago; his Wife was very poorly and Drs couldn't find out why, but I've heard nothing since - not even today when I really thought he'd be in! I'll hopefully e-mail him before the end of the day and when I hear anything I'll definitely put in on a post. Fingers crossed

I know I said I would only Pot on a Wednesday Evening but I had a spare 10p in my Purse so I Potted that....I think that I might Pot little amounts during the Week - Like 5p, 10p or 20p...and save the other amounts like 50p, £1 and notes in my Purse until a Wednesday Evening and then I can Pot them....


Struggling a bit tonight as today I was summoned to the GP Surgery for the Results of an Ultrasound Scan that I had on Sunday....there are some abnormal results....I'm trying not to freak out and it could be ANYTHING....but of course the dreaded "C" Word comes to mind....but I'm trying to stay positive and that I don't know anything yet....they are sending me for a Blood Test tomorrow morning and then a further procedure at the Hospital within 2 weeks....so I'm just going to keep busy and stay Positive...What will be, will be....and I have faith that I can be strong and deal with whatever it is...I'll let you ALL know what happens....


Apart from that...I found 10p on the Doormat of my local little Shop, so I picked it up quicksmart and popped it into my separate Pot for my Road Kill....can't wait to see how much I've managed to find across the Year and then Pot it in my main Pot....


I am off to grab a few hours sleep now and will look forward to seeing you all on the new Thread....Ta Ta for now

Good for you with the potting, Helen, but so sorry to hear your health news. Still, as you say yourself - keep positive, stay calm and keep taking deep breaths; it'll quite possibly be them erring on the side of caution. Thoughts and prayers are with you, Helen {{{hugs}}} too. :kisses3:

I think what freaked me out the most was being called up and told to come to the Surgery as soon as possible....but they probably ARE just making sure it's nothing....and I can't worry about what I don't know....it'll send me crazy if I do that....so I'm going to TRY not to worry...


BTW...WELL DONE to EVERYONE on your Potting this past Year...you've ALL done AMAZINGLY well and I'm so pleased for ALL of you!!
