Ooh some lovely totals being declared, well done everyone:T:T

Potted my first £2 coin of the new challenge last night plus some shrapnel (separate tins this year, I might even treat myself to proper tins to replace the old Cheddars tub )
The pots sounded so empty :( I might have to line them with a £5 note :rotfl:

    NB everyone!
Unlike sparky I have not been able to take any banked amounts from your sigs,I'm trusting that you'll all be able to give me the entire sums you've saved when you declare on the 27th. Thanks a lot folks.
    :)

    Well in that case.....

My target is £1000 but with you on the case i can see myself far exceeding that :rotfl:
My Mr works at Tropical Birdland. My parents are friends with the owner so go there every Saturday. I have known Matty for probably getting close to 10 years. We have both dated other people but have never been single at the same time. When we finally were we just ended up together. I have had a crush on him for most of those 10 years :o
We haven't got a holiday planned. I'm not really the holidaying type but Matt is so he'll no doubt want to go somewhere soon.
Matt and i are spending our first Christmas together (and my first away from my parents). We plan to cook together, watch films, FaceTime everyone and be happy!!

Done.... *Searches for money to pot* £2.80 emptied from my purse into my pot (well my potting purse ready to be potted)

Well then you can take losing that 2p as a lesson learnt! Maybe you'll be more careful with the pennies in future!! You'll never be a millionaire leaving your change lying around!!!

Goodness, however you got the total you did with that attitude i'll never know....... :kisses3: Just kidding of course :D

:p I haven't counted the roadkill up yet, I can't make my mind up whether to do it now or leave it til next year. I do hope you & Matt have your perfect Christmas together, Ruth, it sounds blissful! A gold star for you for all your help on the RT's thanks! :staradmin You've been brilliant....so far! ;)

Indeed there are, Rosy, but it's slow so far. Isn't it weird when the pots are empty, so better when coins fall on a bedded pot. In time.....
Thank you so much for all your help on the RTs, a shiny gold star for your help - so far! ;) :staradmin

It's still money saved and NOT spent, Brightspark, and that warrants pride! :D Congratulations and all the best for this time next year!!!!!:T:dance:

NB, all SPC savers: 5th November will be the date of next November's opening day, please take note!!!
PLEASE folks, do ensure your correct Nos are on your siggies!! Many of you have ones from the old list which makes things more difficult for me. :(
Please check the 2nd Post of the 1st page! IF you're not there please let me know as I had to change the entire membership list early in the year so you may be missing, but that can soon be sorted out.

An important note from girlatplay, folks: "I bank with Bank of Scotland and they accept as many change bags as you have, as long as you take them to the business banking counter.

Anyone wishing to join, it's NEVER too late, so please just ask, you're more than welcome. :grinheart

Aha, that's brilliant, Lost!! It was changed when I had to sort the entire membership list out earlier in the year as so many folk don't come to MSE now (must be millionaires!) I PM members and ask and so many don't bother replying let alone altering things, yet you've done it already! Thanks sooooo much. :kisses3:

Thank you Sue, I am very lucky at the moment and there is no way I would have been able to save this amount if I was back in the UK. I am making the most of our time here and hopefully have some savings in the bank for when we eventually return :)
