Hi Sue, sorry I haven't been able to help much this year, family problems getting me down.

My total is £437.81. Would have been a lot more if DH hadn't decided to start going out more.

It's lovely to see so many happy posts, congratulations all.

Hugs to all in need of one. Especially ETO and DreamerHelen.

Please send our best wishes to Sparky and Mrs Sparky please Sue.

    NB everyone!
Unlike sparky I have not been able to take any banked amounts from your sigs,I'm trusting that you'll all be able to give me the entire sums you've saved when you declare on the 27th. Thanks a lot folks.
    :)

Very wise words, 32b3, remember them, Helen. xxx

That's a lot of money saved in a short space of time, you did wonderfully!!!!:T:dance: BTW, it's people like you who make it so worthwhile, with Christmas funded far more easily. PLEASE folks, do ensure your correct Nos are on your siggies!! Many of you have ones from the old list which makes things more difficult for me. :(
Please check the 2nd Post of the 1st page! IF you're not there please let me know as I had to change the entire membership list early in the year so you may be missing, but that can soon be sorted out.

An important note from girlatplay, folks: "I bank with Bank of Scotland and they accept as many change bags as you have, as long as you take them to the business banking counter.

Anyone wishing to join, it's NEVER too late, so please just ask, you're more than welcome. :grinheart

That's a really good amount. The way I look at it is that at the end of most years I have nothing in the bank and still have cc debt. Between DH and I we earn a decent wage and fritter it all away on crap with nothing to show for it. That's why I'm here . With the help and support and camaraderie on this thread I'm hoping that at the end of next year there will be something in my sealed pot (there will be I PROMISE:D) and that I can feel good about taking charge and doing something pro active.
Sorry to boringly ramble on but this is exciting
for me and I know to others as well and if I get £50 it's 50 more than I had last year :o: Sorry again for my rambling x:o

    I've been Money Tipped!
Welcome to more new potters - good luck with your savings.

Some great totals coming in, but well done to all that saved even anything. We all have different circumstances and we all have difficult times to go through and times can be hard. Sadly 2015 will be no different!!
But, keep on trying and for myself, get that Xmas for "free" next year if possible. Once you have done it once, you will really appreciate it and will continue.

DreamerHelen - take care and try not to worry.

To the "lurkers", please come and join a great gang. You too can benefit.

See you all on the new thread tomorrow.

    Lynsey

  • Hi everyone - delurking to say that my sealed pot had £154.75 in it - which I am very pleased about it. :j:beer::T:xmastree::xmassign:

My SPC number is 037 and I had originally aimed to save £500, but it has been a VERY tight year and I am delighted to have saved what I have.

Well done to everyone on your amazing totals - don't you just love SPC opening time. :D
