Ha ha ha ha :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Mater Nitty

I did not know I caused such a confusion. This is the mistake of auto-correct not me

    Seriously? :rotfl::rotfl:
I assumed you'd had to spell it like that 'cos the powers-that-be here didn't like it! Silly me :rotfl::rotfl:

EverTheOptimist I'm sorry for your loss ((((hugs))))

Ms.Dita Hello and welcome to the thread. Sue will be along shortly to give you your own special number but in the meantime, read through the first post on page 1 and get searching for more pennies to add to your starters! ;):p

Further to my post about Bank of Scotland accepting lots of bags, I just went to pay in my bags (had 8 with me today - sore shoulder now ) but three of them were not full (1 x 93p, 1 x 96p, 1 x £9). I asked him if I could swap some money to fill them. I'm not sure if this is official or if the guy just "likes the ladies" but he accepted my not-full bags and paid them in too!!

Got my total ready but will declare on Thursday!! :D
    Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
    Mortgage today = £161,690.76
    300 271 payments to go.
    House buyout fund £21,000/£40,000

Opened my pot early to take advantage of Argos toy offers.

    £306 for member 28.

I'm thrilled with that, I was hoping for £200.
Already started on next year's pot.

    NB everyone!
Unlike sparky I have not been able to take any banked amounts from your sigs, I'm trusting that you'll all be able to give me the entire sums you've saved when you declare on the 27th. Thanks a lotfolks. :)

It's never too late to join us, Ms.Dita. A very warm welcome to you! It's lovely to have you with us. :grinheart Have fun saving and enjoy the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on the 2nd post of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings near the end of November, please make a note of this year's date: 26th Nov.
Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

Ms.Dita, a bit last for 2014 maybe, but you feel happy in saving and joining in with us just as soon as you like. :D

Ive potted up earlier, as I'm bust Wednesday and Thursday, sorry. i'll update the sig too, if I get a chance.

Big drum roll :rotfl: :D :rotfl: ...dar, dar, dar.... A grand total of £54.70 :T :A :T. Which is better than last year, and more than I thought we'd have. Not bad for the odd penny spare, here and there. I know how its going to get spent too...replacing the car bumper, with a second hand one. Seen as some kind soul, drove into ours overnight and then drive off:eek:  . Ah well, as grandad used to say, "That's life.." :rotfl: :D :rotfl:.

Happy potting you lot :D  :D.

Sadly, you're Granddad was right in that's life, nu1isit? rotten shame about the bumper  ......but EXCELLENT NEWS about your savings!!!!!!!! :j:T:j You've done wonderfully this year and definitely upped it!!! yay.gif Chuffed to bits for you and all the family. Keep up the saving nudist!! :D

Fantastic savings, lucyhope!!!!!!:T  You did briliantly to get that much over what you thought given all you've been through this year! Very well done!!!

Are you there, little_sweetie?? If so, how did you get on with the MOT yesterday? Well I hope.

Whether you've declared or not, folks, keep saving that cash!!

An important note from girlatplay, folks: "I bank with Bank of Scotland and they accept as many change bags as you have, as long as you take them to the business banking counter."

Please ensure your correct Nos are on your siggies everyone!

Everyone ready for Thursday? Only...1 1/2 potting days away!!:j

Don't forget NOT to change cash via coinstar or they'll have over 10% of YOUR money!!!!

Anyone wishing to join, it's NEVER too late, so please just ask, you're more than welcome. :grinheart
