NB everyone!
Unlike sparky I have not been able to take any banked amounts from your sigs, I'm trusting that you'll all be able to give me the entire sums you've saved when you declare on the 27th. Thanks a lot folks.
Thanks for the magical Monday, Lynne. I know what you mean about wishing you'd opened yours, me too, but we're good girls :happylove:happylove aren't we! Summat like that anyway. Still, it won't be long now. Thanks sooo much for all your help on the R Threads! Here's a little thank you :staradmin and much deserved.
Hey Lulu, how about making sure your DH brings enough for next year too!!! :rotfl:ruby_eskimo wrote: »I counted up my pot last night and adding that to the stuff I've already banked, I would like to declare £157.34 for pot #24.
Well done to everyone this year, I'm sure the total is going to be bigger than ever and we can smash it again next year!
That's just amazing, Ruby, many congratulations to you!!!!!! :j:T:dance: I'll hold you to your promise of joining in more often this next year mind!
I really don't know about the Grand Total this year, Ruby, as littlecharlie isn't saving with us as she used to, whether she's saving any with us remains to be seen, she just said she was saving differently. We'll see.girlatplay wrote: »I'm not sure if I say this every year so apologies if I repeat myself every 12 months but I bank with Bank of Scotland and they accept as many change bags as you have, as long as you take them to the business banking counter. Thought that might be helpful for some folk
I'm trying to make my bags up to full at the moment. I only have 3 that are not full. I have already raided Little Miss Gap's change stashes (yes, plural!) but they have been exhausted now. Just for the record, I asked her permission and I swapped her, I didn't just steal from her!
Please GAP, don't ever apologise for giving out useful information as it's quite possibly vital for so many members. How about doing the same every year please!Well done for little Gap's savings, and don't worry, it wouldn't cross folk's minds here that you'd even think of stealing from her, otherwise you wouldn't be mentioning it now would you!!
You're doing her a huge favour of saving so young.
Thanks Sue I have two pots on the go until 27th as I don't want to open the cupcake and have an idea what I have saved :rotfl:
I know it won't be too much this year but something is better than nothingI look forward to putting it in to saving
Found some 2p's and 1p's whilst cleaning the junk drawer out yesterday so I have chucked them in.
The amount doesn't matter, newthrift, it's the actual saving that's important so keep it up!I can't wait to find out what everyone's saved, small or large!
I've no willpower either, Rosy, but might jjjjjuust hold out until Wednesday so I'm free for the onslaught on Thursday. Thank you so much for all your help on the R Threads so far, here's a little something for you too. :staradmin
...and Thursday won't be long now, siju, til then...keep right on saving hard!! :j
