That would have cost a fortune at my hairdressers. A gift is definitely in order!Next time, when I'm clever enough to get extra money bags from the bank ready for the pot opening day, I will make a note on here of where I actually put them!!
I can't find the ones I picked up the other week for love nor money!!

Well I made the decision to count up today. I know it is a little early, but the money is going to be used towards decorating the hall, stairs and landing. We are keen to get this completed before December starts, so the end of November would be a bit tight for this deadline.
So, I'm declaring at £169.07
I am very happy with this as it should pay for the wood flooring for the hallway. Obviously, I would have loved more, but up until September, my main focus was clearing my overdraft. So, not much was going in and when it was it was mostly coins under 50p.
I will definitely be sealing my pot back up for next year and, as my DD helped me sort out the coins, she commented that she wanted to do it too. So, hopefully next year, there will be another junior sealed pot member - starting good habits early on
I will still pop on at the end of the month to see everyone's tallies - good luck to all of you for the final potting push.SPC # 348 2014-£169.07/2015 - £156.89

You can do it jakes-mum, you know we all rely on you to set a [STRIKE]good[/STRIKE] example :T
Have potted a few more lovely £2 coins lately, mostly bought from OH, I don't know why he gets them and not me!
Sorry I've not managed to read all the way back, it's silly busy at work at the moment and I'm trying to make christmas presents so not much time at home.
You've made me think about my pot though - I have one pot for all coins, but I tend to agree that the lovely shiny £2 variety deserve a pot of their own so I'll have to see what I can do next year!
