Sounds like a bargain to me! I paid £22 (plus a tip) to get my hair cut on Thursday, got home, hated the way it was blow dried and washed it again :o Why do I bother, I could have potted the money :(

Hair is now cut, coloured, dried and straightened and I forgot to get the biscuits:eek: I can't imagine I will get away with not getting them though. I will buy her a nice present when I go away on Thursday :D

Hey everyone, my pot is £713 at the moment and I don't think it will get any bigger by the 27th of November :)

Glad I took part in this challenge as it stopped me from spending my savings!

Next time, when I'm clever enough to get extra money bags from the bank ready for the pot opening day, I will make a note on here of where I actually put them!!

I can't find the ones I picked up the other week for love nor money!!

NB everyone! Unlike sparky I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TAKE ANY BANKED AMOUNTS FROM YOUR SIGS, I'm trusting that you'll all be able to give me the entire sums you've saved when you declare on the 27th. Thanks a lot folks. :)

29p roadkill potted tonight. More in my purse when I can get up to get it out of my bag. Walked my feet off today, I swear I've lost five inches in height. :rotfl:

    Hugs to all.

Another very strange day. Went to A*li and my tea was still on offer at 99p reduced from £1.19 so I bought some. When I went through the till I checked my receipt and I had been charged full price so I went back to the till and got my 20 pence refunded.

We then went to Morrys and I bought 3 x grapefruit priced at 45 pence each. I went through the till and was charged 3 x 60 pence so went to customer service and eventually was refunded the 45 pence.

So be very aware and be very careful potters - they are out to get you !! Why is it the mistakes are always in their favour eh ??

Potted the 65 pence - better in my pot than theirs ;)

  • jakesmum at least you have now found who the sticky fingers belong to - hope you gave them hell!

SueUU hope that DH is felling better

AlwaysHappy I work with adults with LD and we always try to focus on what they all can do rather than what they can't - sometimes we all need help and support in one way or another! It sounds like you all had a good time at the wedding and that's what you need to remember xx

On a potting front not really that much for me this week :( just a couple of ££ approx in change. The car is booked in also for its cambelt and water pump - this will be just £499 as it's on special offer!! So not really been able to save my fivers that I normally put away from taking in lunch, but from Friday will be back for a final mahoosive push before open day :j:j

Going for Sunday lunch with the family today as it it my sisters birthday tommorow and she is 40!

    Happy Sunday everyone xx

That's really not fair is it :(

I found the other day that the co-op have a more than generous policy on mistakes. I bought 2 tins of deodorant as they were marked up on the shelves as half price. At the till I was charged full price, so I was refunded IN FULL for both products, and was allowed to keep them! £7 up, bonus! Well done co-op :T

In other news still quietly potting away, £2 coins coming along nicely, they make up £70 of my sealed pot total :)

Had a decent potting weekend overall, about £12 in total, needed some cash for a last minute trip to London yesterday, so potted all the leftovers :):)

Have a lovely Sunday all :)
Let's get ready to bumble! :rotfl:
  • Morning all,

    Still here and still potting.

When do we need to count it up? Is it the end of November?
