Morning potters!! £5.72 for the tin yesterday - I can hardly sleep with anticipation now - its sooooo close.
Went to a wedding at the weekend which was fab, though my ds (16) made "friends" with a 7 year old who was far advanced of him, it was lovely that they went around together as it gave me and dh some respite but on the other hand it was a stark reality check. He is going to college and in some ways doing so well now that he can get the bus on his own but then seeing him in his element with such a youngster was both uplifting to see and sad iykwim.
Anyway, happy potting today - lets get those pots lovely and full.I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0 -
Jakes-mum, how absolutely awful for you. It's not just the loss but the betrayal that's most upsetting. Sending you hugs and well wishes.S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

Ahh Ty ladies, no point crying over spilt milk, it's gone, can't change it so tuck it away and move on with me savings
. One day they will admit it and until then I shall pop it in my metaphorical 'to look at later' box.
Ahhh Always Happy, your DS is doing amazing in his own journey, and seems very happy from your posts. It's not how fast we can run, but how much we enjoy ourselves while we do. It's hard as a parent to see where they are compared to their peers but he is the very best person he can be! He's himself! He's unique and amazing and inspirational, and above all he's happy and that counts for everything in my world(I know I'm not very eloquent but you get where I'm going
)
£5 in my pot as I bought some meat from Mr C yesterday and it smelt awful! Took it back and they gave me double refund so in the pot the extra goes :jSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
NB everyone! Unlike sparky I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TAKE ANY BANKED AMOUNTS FROM YOUR SIGS, I'm trusting that you'll all be able to give me the entire sums you've saved when you declare on the 27th. Thanks a lot folks.
My poor DH has a rotten throat throat and chest infection. Still, hopefully now he's finally given in and been to the Dr it'll soon shift and he'll be fine again...and no more barking, especially at night.
Hugs to your DH Sue, hope you'll both be able to get some rest now.
Still potting away.
Hugs to all, especially Jakes-mum.S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

Jakes-mum I'm outraged for you! It's even worse when the person can't admit what they've done. Stealing from family is the lowest of the low, truly. Good luck with the rest of your potting and your new hiding place.
I put £1 in today. I have £2 in my purse but I think I'm going to buy a EuroMillions ticket for the first time in years. Feeling luckyDebt free 6th December 2014

Hiya everyone - not long now eh :j
Sue-UU I hope you DH is starting to feel a bit better now and (((hugs))) for anyone else feeling a bit 'under the weather' - it's that time of the year isn't it.
Went past someone yesterday who I thought was collecting for 'seeing dogs' and said I'd stop on the way back as i was in a rush to catch the bank. On the way back I offered them a £1 for their collection and they said they couldn't take it  as they were actually looking for sponsors for puppy training. So I put the £1 in my pocket and then in my pot when I got home !
Hope you all having a good day

lynnejk I have had that before.I stopped to listen to the speil about the work the charity does.Went to put my hand in my purse to get some coins, and the man said "Oh,no-we don't take donations,we are looking for monthly subscription....." Funny they wouldn't have a tin to chuck some coins into as an option for someone who didn't want a permanent, ongoing commitment.
