NB everyone! Unlike sparky I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TAKE ANY BANKED AMOUNTS FROM YOUR SIGS, I'm trusting that you'll all be able to give me the entire sums you've saved when you declare on the 27th. Thanks a lot folks. :)

As others have said, at least you've got a fund to dip into. Even though we don't like to I guess that's 'technically' what it's for.

I didn't win the Euromillions :rotfl:

Not a single number. So I potted £2.90 and felt a bit better.

Good morning, potted exactly £6 day before yesterday, it came from a friend who owed me £6 as I bought a leaving present for someone at work for £24 between four of us, so two lots of £6 have already been paid back by friends and I decided to put the £6 paid back yesterday into my pot. I have another £6 to come but probably wont get that back until after opening day as my work colleague is off work poorly. Yesterday £3 potted, bought OH a bottle of cider from my grocery budget, he paid me back when we got home so decided that was going in the pot as well. Alcohol does not come out of my grocery budget, it comes out of OHs budget...lol gotta love him, he also gave me a 20p coin out of his loose change so £9.20 in total over last three days. Also popped into the bank for some change bags in readiness ot counting up day!!! not long now.

Sounds like a bargain to me! I paid £22 (plus a tip) to get my hair cut on Thursday, got home, hated the way it was blow dried and washed it again :o Why do I bother, I could have potted the money :(

Im so heartbroken its unbelievable :( someone in our house has sticky fingers, i've just found my pot top has been ripped open where someone was trying to get the coins out. Going back through the posts, 3 weeks ago that pot was so full I was struggling to get coins in there, it now has a 2cm ish gap to the top. We have ripped it open and nearly all the £1 coins and 50ps have been taken :(

No idea how long its been going on and so very hurt as it had to have been a member of the family. DH and I are really worried now as I did say before that I thought I had X number of tins, but last week when I looked I was 1 tin less than I thought so now we are worried that they have taken an entire tin of money! I just want to cry

Oh no I can't believe this. I know how you feel it happened to my £2 pot and my tin earlier in the year. I would be so cross. Sticky fingers came back 3 months later and was busted. Hope you find out who it was x

Not much potting for me £360 in car repairs instead sooo frustrating but still much much less paid to repairs over the year than would cost in a year buying a new one. And to run salt into the wound got paid yesterday and I'm STILL emergency taxed Grrrr!!!
