Glad you like your SMM, CK (Ooh, lucky you having classy initials ;) ), I've recommended them in the past. I've got so many brands, all mixed up and I can't read labels any more so I'll never know which brand suits me best apart from one that's discontinued because the mfr went bust.

Well done to have hit first time on a brand you love :D

Hmmm I am curious about this Elemental Beauty make-up. Can someone recommend things to buy for fair-light skin tone? This green cover up stuff sounds interesting too hehe.

Google them & look at the stuff.

    They sell cheap trial sizes;)

I use the undereye brightner- better than touche eclaite;)

& the healing concealer - the dogs wotsits of conceralers

    Jeannie uses their mineral foundation.

The helpline is manned by a really helpful lady who will advise & help you in deciding what suits you, without the hard sell.

Yes, thanks Veronarona, your advise really helped. I started with the 2007 threads where you bigged-up SMM....great advice!

You seem to be a mineral make-up fanatic! You definitely sold it to me!

And, yes, MrsE....I once bought the Dior equivalent concealer called Skinflash for £22...and it was awful!!! I can't believe I spent that much when I could have had all this mineral make-up for the same price! It does such a better job. Live and learn!

Glad you are getting on with it ok!

Took me a bit of time to find one that didn't aggravate and I found EB to really suit me. Then a little time to learn to apply it - tho Veronarona's advice of shutting your eyes whilst applying it really helped!! More I 'faffed' about, worse it went on.

Less is more I found and I sort of brush it vaguely aimlessly around!! We all develop our own technique I guess. Mines called 'Haphazard' :D:D:D

I will never ever put 'wet' make up on my skin again. It all seems so 'gunky' now!! Yuk!

I don't use concealer or anything else.. I have three colours that I love and depending on what time of year it is - I may use the darker (summer) one in the winter to give some colour on my cheeks. I mix all together sometimes.... the lighter one I may dab a bit of that on first if I am a bit red. Works for me.

And I look twenty years younger since using EB! ;)

Oh you are so kind to me................ :D

    How are you??

The weather has turned awful! The reason for this is simple - I've taken a fortnights holiday and having a 'stacation' as the Americans call it!

At least I am getting some chores done... :o

I'm on the net trying to find a nice site to buy some gift vouchers - not doing well, so have started a thread!

Re MMU - someone asked me the other day if I had been away - thanks to my EB darker shade that I got last year - I'm looking a bit tanned and healthy! More red, white & blotchy without it...

Im having a blotchy itchy week this week, thankfully the Eb covers it so well and soothes. Im now looking at trying the coconut oil as in a thread here.

Im also sticking to the one foundation colour and have got a pot of BE Tan. Its bloody brill. I try to keep it down to a sunkissed look but sometimes Im asked if Ive been sunbathing. It actually looks pretty real and I take it down my neck and arms if wearing something that bares them. !7 quid for a wee pot thats not going to get used up anytime soon, think it will easily last a year - perhaps two if only using it during the summer

Me too :( I wonder if it's a reaction to the hot weather we've had.

You've just reminded me that I've got BE Tan too! Never used it  I'm wondering now if I could get away with it, but BE used to make my skin prickle when I was using it a few years ago. Still, nothing ventured...

    (Hi Jeannie :D )

    So, we're all itchy!

Even the palms of my hands are itchy and dry... :o My right foot has flared up with ecsema -no thats not spelt right - its always my right foot, never the left!

This time last year I was really chilling out in Cyprus.... and my skin was perfection (well, as good as it can be at my age!) Wish I could get the lottery up.
