Good luck Barricade, hopefully the wait is nearly over for you.
I think you are right regarding the rates and increased interest.
When we went to send our payslips on 18th the mortgage advisor said he was booked out for next month, while when we went to see him the first time we just 'walk in' and booked appointment for the next day he was is. Doubt we would have that much luck now.

I was asked for 3 months pay slips (actually sent 4 seeing as I had received the doc request the same day I got my payslip), money laundering regulation letter signing and an employment reference (employer had to send it).

I've seen posts of being required to submit bank statements, but I haven't been asked that.

    Not at all.

For us, 3 months payslips, proof of deposit, letter detailing gift, letter detailing prospective job offer.

Nice to finally have a little progress and an application number! :)

Most people it seems applying to the PO are not asked to produce bank statements....which is handy if you have been in the red a few times....

Don't think my docs have been submitted yet.

This is great to know, thank you!

Saves me having to worry whether they're going to ask for further info and delay us even further!
