What it is to not have kids and thus to have a concept that a weekend morning could be too quiet...
I love weekend mornings. (Usually) no rushing around getting ready to get out of the door. No alarm, extra sleeping time. What's not to like?
Except at the moment, all of that has an undercurrent of 'there is something you should be doing'. I do a pretty impressive job of ignoring that though!0 -

My favourite is discontinued,
Mine too. I've got some that I'm trying to eke out though.
I like wearing perfume, but I usually forget on a day-to-day basis. On a day-to-day basis, I'm doing well if I remember to brush my hair before leaving the house!0 -

Unfortunately you have a thread full of chums all willing to be your conscience.0 -

Talking of consciences ... please could you all go back to telling me off if I appear on the NPT after midnight on a school night or 12:30 on a not school night? Thanks.
Nikkster - see if you can get something done and then post on here to say you've done it.
I am going to try to get DD to clean out the hamster today (with my help). Not till this afternoon though. Other things to do this morning.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
*All* the tenants were asleep? Did one of them wake up to let you in, or did the agent let you in and show you round without the knowledge of any of the tenants at all?
It wasn't just us being shown round, it was an open house!
There were probably 10+ people being shown round. Those boys had gotten completely smashed the night before.
I have no idea whether they knew it was going on and I wasn't about to wake them up to find out.0 -

Years ago, mid '80s, we were looking at buying and the estate agents would hand over keys to furnished properties! Owners not tenants, assuming that the EA was doing accompanying viewings and they were actually just trusting viewers with keys! Give it a chance to weather in a bit
I've been gritting my teeth as best I can. Have reanalysed an experiment (or part of it anyway). I'm not enjoying it (and I've had to try and remember how to work the software which is really annoying as I used to be able to navigate it with my eyes closed).
But at least I'm trying.0
