I just re-found a spray of Chanel No 19 Eau de Parfum that OH gave me prob nearly 10 years ago now. Barely used, so bottle nearly full... I'm guessing that's why it still smells wonderful. Plus it's been kept in its original box in the dark. Going to use it while it's still OK. I've no idea what it costs now, but suspect it's more than I'd ever want to pay! But pointless to save for "special occasions" as doubt will have any more of them! Kids both married, and they don't go in for stuff like Christenings (thank goodness!).
Swift spray on wrists, rub across inside of elbows, I'm suddenly feeling happy.0 -
Oh dear, ebay have just offered DW £25 if she sells a smart phone for more than £100. I'm thinking she lists a phone for £101 buy-it-now, I buy it, she pays ebay their 10% fee and we make £15 profit....I think....0

More on topic posting, sorry. Sometimes all parties can want an arrangement like this but the mortgage lenders for the new buyers can rule it out as it doesn't meet their risk profile
indeed.
Naturally my friend has no information regarding the mortgage arrangements of the new LL, but the sale went through all right.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

The agent kept the property on their books and continues raking in their cut of the rent.0 -

I have two scents I use regularly - Black Cashmere and Allure. I love both. I don't save it for special occasions, I like wearing scent....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

My perfumes are free, mostly, too. My parents give them to me for Christmas / birthday presents!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

WE use my ebay account not hers hence she receives offers and I don't...neverdespairgirl wrote: »I have two scents I use regularly - Black Cashmere and Allure. I love both. I don't save it for special occasions, I like wearing scent.
I am really not keen on all that perfume, smelly soaps, fabric conditioner thang, what is wrong with just smelling clean? I also try to avoid getting warm enough to activate my deodorant.
When DSIL visits her scent takes over the whole house and car for days on end, similarly when we have the foreign students they linger for days after they leave. At work a new joiner, lady of a certain age wears something where the 'notes' I get are sort of toilet cleaner / nail varnish remover and even though she generally sits several desks away I notice every time she gets up or sits down because there is a 'waft' of this. I haven't felt able to mention my discomfort to anyone.I think....0
