Why do you hate weekend mornings?

It's just too quiet; nothing to do. I'd rather sleep through it :)

Oh dear, ebay have just offered DW £25 if she sells a smart phone for more than £100. I'm thinking she lists a phone for £101 buy-it-now, I buy it, she pays ebay their 10% fee and we make £15 profit....

I got that offer, the catch is that it has to be a paypal only listing - so paypal commission to pay and the £25 comes in the form of a voucher.

What it is to not have kids and thus to have a concept that a weekend morning could be too quiet...

Hadn't read the detail, factoring in PayPal 'double fees' as well makes it less worthwhile for sure. EBay is a natural monopoly and yet the competition authorities ignore their scalping, a good example of regulation being years behind technology.
    I think....

    .

    No kids required,

Mas, feel welcome to visit the wreck some weekends......this morning we are wood staining, but you could have walked the dogs, or moved some plants, cut some grass, or some hedges, or had a bonfire, or done some sweeping, gutter clearing, ditch clearing, transplanted some bulrushes, potted on some mint ready to sink into the beds we're painting, weeding, rehung a gate or two, repair a ruddy fence a rascal keeps knocking down and is patched with electric ATM, moved the electric, glazed the new door window, ( we haven't bought the glass yet though so that would be a problem, fir was suggesting doing a temp job with some acrylic we have) put a hook on the bottom part of that door put a shelf up in the utility room, clean the chooks out clear out the veg bed, .....................

Get the idea?:D. Honestly, any weekend you're bored.......:rotfl:

I don't have kids and I find weekend mornings come in two different types.

    1) Too hungover to do anything.

    2) Still too drunk to do anything.

Are you saying there's a third type of weekend morning?

We looked at a flat not so long ago.

The tenents were all sound asleep. There was a bin bag full.of beer bottles hy the front door. The coffee table had ripped up rizla packets and white powder on it and one of the tenents had his laptop open to a 'gentleman's website'!:rotfl:

*All* the tenants were asleep? Did one of them wake up to let you in, or did the agent let you in and show you round without the knowledge of any of the tenants at all?

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Lovely to see you viva. Hope all is well with you - lir says your reasons for not being on here don't mean anything is wrong.
Looking forward to having you back with us when circumstances allow. :)

That LL probably wants his tenants to suspect their flat is haunted.

Spirit, been thinking of you, sending positive thoughts your way.

Mas have you seen the movie 1984, might be on Netflix or elsewhere on t'interweb. Not absurdly jolly, but I remember we discussed reading it and you were pushed for time.
