  • Always on the make ... :P

I'm going to sit here refreshing ebay constantly for the next week, looking for new smartphones listed for £101. As soon as it pops up I'm buying it! Bargain!

WE use my ebay account not hers hence she receives offers and I don't...

I guess this is a lesson to you- you should have 500 dormant ebay accounts set up in order to farm the offers.

Order confirmation from talktalk for my new sim-only contract (£3.75 per month for 12 months, £40 cashback), the level of customer service may explain the price:
tit-facts.jpgline2.gif arrow.gif Someone over 18 will need to be at home to sign for the delivery arrow.gif It will fit through your letterbox, so you won’t need to be at home to sign for it arrow.gif Want to keep your existing number? No problem. You’ll be able to do this in My Account, once you have received your new SIM card
    I think....

Went to see the potential BTL again today. The tenant was caught unawares. Poor guy. Son tenant was nursing a hangover- I'm sure that sleeping in a bunk bed can't help. Dad tenant was telling us they are only there until their purchase goes through. Agent was on the phone to Mum tenant who said they wanted to stay in the flat.

Putting that all together, I guess they want to stay until their purchase goes through and not have an interim move.

We looked at a flat not so long ago.

The tenents were all sound asleep. There was a bin bag full.of beer bottles hy the front door. The coffee table had ripped up rizla packets and white powder on it and one of the tenents had his laptop open to a 'gentleman's website'!:rotfl:

Oh dear, ebay have just offered DW £25 if she sells a smart phone for more than £100. I'm thinking she lists a phone for £101 buy-it-now, I buy it, she pays ebay their 10% fee and we make £15 profit....

Ebay over here had an offer on bbqs (50% off I think) and a bloke decided he was going to milk the deal by selling a whole load of bbqs. He sold 500 but now can't get enough stock to deliver. Paypal have blocked his account as has his bank and he's being investigated for fraud. It's all quite amusing.

There was a thread on this site I caught the start of the other day - somebody'd got a lot of stuff to sell on ebay, they'd sold some of it and ebay wanted paying (£900 or so) - and had frozen their account. Now they're stuck with stock they can't sell, but until they sell some they can't pay the £900 bill .... and then you sit and wonder ".... remind me ... how did you think this'd work?"

I'll see if I can find it again, see if anybody managed to get the details of what actually happened - and why they thought ebay'd wait for their money....

I am really not keen on all that perfume, smelly soaps, fabric conditioner thang, what is wrong with just smelling clean? I also try to avoid getting warm enough to activate my deodorant.
    .

    Whereas I love perfume.

My favourite is discontinued, so I'm jumping around a bit more than usual ATM, But I jump around quite a bit between the bottles I have. One is a little pick me up, one is definitely a calm me down. One is a childhood memory good for a difficult or sore night's sleep. So on.....

I'm not a signature scent person, but my perfumes all tend to have particular notes in common, hopefully not bleach. Though bleach certainly keeps people smelling clean !:D

Good to see you back, V.

I hate weekend mornings. Woken up now though, don't think I'll get back to sleep. Might watch a film or something.
