:A My own personal Israeli has reserves of energy, gumption and elbow grease that put me to shame. :A...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

I have been feeling overwhelmed rather a lot recently. Work is busy and kinda stressful, the garden is a mess and of course I'm supposed to be thesising. I've very nearly been in the house for a year (it's gone so quickly, don't you think?) and it doesn't look any different to when I moved in. Despite there being plenty needing to be done (nothing on an InRates scale, but still).
Visited my DB today, they moved in 2 days ago, today they did lunch for 19, there house already looks more together than ours does after 4.5 years here. They are also 8 months pregnant....I think....0 -

I think I'm probably starting to look pregnant at the moment. And I could have fed a large number of people on what I've eaten this weekend0 -
Unless I've worked out how to bud like a yeast or perform fission like a starfish, no!
On their Big Night Out series, Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer's assistant Les was parthenogenetic and could self-reproduce without fertilisation throughout the summer months.

I think I've got enough to deal with at the moment, so I haven't really been trying to spawn tbh.
Ideally I would do so with a significant other to share the experience too. Give it a few more years of spinsterhood and I might have to reconsider my options...0 -

That would be a great trick if you could master it....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Hi viva. Hope all is well.
Thanks Gen, all good, have been away. More details to follow, but for now Hamish needs to know I've been reccying all terrain vehicles and asking the pro drivers what they think of them. Preferred the Nissan Patrol to Toyota Landcruiser from a personal comfort standpoint, but both of those knocked the Landy off the charts. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Bucking the trend...my house looks better than it has for years! Been on a major clear out/decorating mode since just before James came home from Uni.
Got the OT coming Tuesday, not really looking forward to that, think I preferred to carry on adapting normal household items into grab holds etc but needs must as I desperately need something doing about the very large step into the house and the housing association will not allow me to even have a wooden extra step made (at my cost) unless I have an OT's report saying I need one.
No grade change for youngest for his Maths, mark changed very slightly upwards but not enough to change the grade...oh well, it was worth a try and it was very very nearly a C. He is also loving college, the setting is just about perfect for him and the autism outreach person said many years ago that if we get the setting right, everything else will follow.
He has had a couple of outbursts at home and has shut himself off a little more than usual but nothing that I didn't expect. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
