Somebody I know said she knows I am nice as her dog LOVES me and doesn't take to many people... yet rushes to be with me when we meet - even when it's been months since I saw her last. She said her dog "knows" who is nice and who is dodgy.

Of course..... that's just a biased dog-owner's view. Dog probably thinks "Person - wonder if they've got treats for me"

He just goes out of his way to sit beside/with me and curls up by my feet.

My experience is that this is a very occasional thing rather than the nearly every day experience that PN says happens to her.

It certainly explains why PN thinks twice about going out of her front door.

DW was made redundant by a very respectable employer when she was away on maternity leave. Her job still existed, but they had filled it whilst she was away and liked the replacement more than her.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Do you really have a town called Balls in Australia?

I usually get on the wrong train only when I am late and hurrying.

I also think other people face the same. In some situations colour can impact on your life experience in similar way or outward expression of religion or cultural background, for example.

I really don't feel hampered by being a woman at all, I feel equal but different. In someways I feel more hampered as part of my sex by people suggesting differences and measures one should think about as part of that difference, are not there. They are and will be, but these differences EMPOWER me as much as disempower me. Yes, I have hackle rising reactions sometimes, but they are there for a reason.....they are part of my 'female make up' and if mine fires a little over fast so be it. Its not like it pull out pepper spray. I smile and watch a while before deciding what to do, which is often nothing.

    I don't have a printer.

Times where it would be useful are times like now when I need to pop out for odds and ends but the list is on macputer but macputer is charging. If I printed it macputer could stay here.

    Nah.

I'd get on with other jobs but I'm a bit sluggish, I found this morning I missed one of my capsules last night , it was hiding in the corner of the blister. I'll just wait for it to get to about forty percent then it should have plenty. :)
