From inside the dishwasher onto the floor.

    :)

Erm, the water appears to be getting forced out around the top of the door. The seal doesn't look rotten so I'm hoping it just shut funny and it will be ok next time if I ignore it and do nothing.

If the outlets are blocked or crudded up, there will be more pressure pushing water out of the door, so check the drains etc

I wish I'd known that home-ownership isn't just about the groin thrusting and G&Ts :(

That's the trouble with it ... forever things to sort out. That's why I at least chose a newish house .... if/when things break I'm only dealing with the problem - and not 50 years of previous owners' bodge jobs too.

And, small garden = less time spent sorting that out.

Not sure whether spirit has been discharged or not. My guess is she's being treated like royalty. :D
    .

    And so she should be.

    He can fix car!!!!!!!,!!!

Says he'll do it tomorrow, either first thing or this sort of time.

Excellent news:T. Hope you feel less fretful now.

One of our drivers left at Christmas. He wants to come back now. They always do, once they have a taste of the real world. Unfortunately for him, he isn't good enought to want back.

That's quite interesting behaviour on your part. You put up with him when he was with you. So, he's not bad enough to sack, but not good enough to hire. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

He wasn't a bad driver, no accidents, kept his paperwork tidy, punctual. He was one of those that wound the others up though and as you know GDB, my trucks are double-manned and it causes a lot of grumpiness with the other drivers. It's been a lot calmer since he left.

As for sacking people, I don't care what anyone says about following procedure, unless it's something very clear like theft, sacking people is difficult. Defending last tribunal cost me about 25k, it really puts you off sacking unless they are bad, as opposed to slightly irritating.
