Spirit, re depression,
Remember how bleak things were for me earlier this year. My pills have helped. I feel like me, not a zombie and while I recognise my health situation isn't changing, I feel less in a rush to resolve anything about that.
And often time, I'm laughing and singing again in the mean time. Of course its not solved but I think it would be a saint who didn't feel acutely depressed after what you have been through.
Hang on in there, huh? you know emotions very well. You are an emotionally intelligent woman. You are well supported and loved. And you deserve to be.0 -

It's amazing how supportive your colleagues are being. Especially considering what else is on their plate at the moment. They must truly love and respect you. As do we, too.
DW says it is early days, and much hope for a substantial recovery. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
We've made Thursday sunsets ( or seven thirty ) official time to take ' a minute for Spirit'
Collective thoughts, hopes, vibes, prayers....what ever people to choose to do.
Thursday was the day Spirit had just started to think of as her visiting nice people dayso it seems appropriate

Thank you so much for staying in touch. V pleased to hear about the walking and the employer support.
Hope the psychiatrist is helpful. Please do let people help you. As lir says, meds can help - much more than even just a few years ago I understand.
In the meantime, sending hugs and prayers.I was trawling through the thread to see if you had posted. Apols if I missed the time for the 'Sending good vibes' moment but I lit you 3 candles on Sunday pm and sent positive thoughts your way.
The introductory "let's do Sunday because it's a bit of a long time to wait before Thursday" didn't quite go to plan for me, but I did manage to do (a) the right time on the wrong day, and (b) the wrong time on the right day, so I hope that counts.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Kiwi won't have it that what he thought was his new favourite toy is actually my new right slipper. I think he thinks by wearing it in front of him I am rubbing in my slipper victory.0

Was I the last one Spirit visited??? Maybe it was visiting me that set it off!
Nice to see you are still joining us Spirit. Oh I bet we do drivel on (well, I know I do!).
