I went into Lidl and they had some curtains, at £9.99 reduced from £14.99. Hadn't expected that and didn't want to "miss out" .... so picked some plum ones. They're thin/"faux silk" unlined.... and I got the eyelets. 135x265, they have a glue strip at the bottom whereby you work out how long you want them, turn them up and iron along the glue and they're hemmed.

Hung them up in my bedroom, obviously not done the length thing .... not sure I like them, but they're curtains and they're up in the bedroom :) ... for £10.

Great news! It's hard to believe that you're the same Pastures that used to live in a poky dark place and sleep on the sofa. Your house sounds lovely, people outside or not..

    Lovely!

Hope you are having a lovely time.

We are going to be picking more things tomorrow - today we were picking blackberries and damsons (by the tonne!)

Isaac decided to teach Kermie to hold a Roman dagger:

    ...

Lovely picture, I love watching the interaction between siblings.

Do you still call him Kermie in RL?

No people now.... it's completed - and on this side they didn't put windows, but panels. I was wondering if panels are cheaper than windows ... if it'd been me I'd have certainly had the top 1' as windows, then put film on them, so the light comes through. Film could be changed over time to be either plain, or patterned... on a whim.

So there's a 6' solid fence, then a 1' gap, then their panels.

I also cleared out the shed earlier and cut the grass.... took the stuff down the tip.... that's cleared out the space to be able to put away the garden furniture I've got.

Fir used to have a stalker, many years ago.

He's just noticed she sent a message to him on facebook about a year or so ago.

I think there is no reason to worry, it was a long time ago. Fir is a little unsettled.
