Thanks for all good wishes I wanted to go to work this morning but ddonsisted on calling an ambulance. The paramedic and the hospital have been fantastic. All calm here no drama but I am a bit shocked

I am so pleased that your DD ignored your wishes. So very pleased.

Back to much more trivial things, I have poured that G+T.

I have made it as far through my Intro chapter as I'm going to before emailing it for review. It is still pretty awful (this is not modesty, it's honesty), and very badly referenced - but it needs to go and I need to move onto the next bit. Better to get as much as possible up to 'mediocre' from 'dire' rather than having one 'half-decent' bit and the rest 'dire'.

It occurred to me that I should ask in my email whether it's really worth bothering with the rest or if I'll just be told I can't submit it as it's not good enough. In which case I'll be free sooner.
But I don't think I'd like the answer, so I won't be asking that!

Oh no! At least you're "well enough" to get online etc.... not sure what to say, never encountered anybody with a stroke before, so not sure what's appropriate.

So .... insert appropriate response etc here.

    *hugs*

A quick message for Pastures. My little TV in the bedroom which has the same aerial as yours has been sending me messages for the last few days saying it needs a retune from today. Just did it, all of a sudden I can get all of the channels and the signal is brilliant. Wondered if you had seen a similar message.

Yes, I've had the messages and retuned earlier ..... still on the same channel, so no idea if things have improved/not.

Chin up, I'm sure it's not as bad as you think. Enjoy that G&T :)

Oh no Spirit, are you ok? Hope you are feeling better soon xx
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

First full day at college for youngest went well, he has declared the TA's as excellent, very helpful and they don't talk down to him.

He is very tired though but so far, no punching of walls or meltdowns yet.

In other news, can't wait for the tax credits to sort out, a very very short week as they traditionally go down on the 1st of September when your child turns 16 and goes into 6th form/college...I knew it was going to happen and tried to prepare but it's still a shock to see the result in your bank account. We'll be fine though before anyone panics, I have some bits and pieces in the freezer (I couldn't even do a normal weekly shop this week only a partial one) and the maintenance will be in on Friday (£35), so we can survive and we won't starve.
