I've only seen bubbly baths on the telly. I'd be petrified of one .... shorting out and electrocuting me, or exploding, catching fire.... usual stuff :)

Mixing electricity with water ... what could possibly go wrong. Even using an electric shower petrifies me. As I stand there, I am too scared to look at the shower head as I can "see" flashes of blue electricity shooting out bolts to kill me, so I don't look in case I see something I don't like....

    And the filth!

Probably about once or twice a day something in our kitchen beeps, problem is when it beeps no one has their ear in the right place to hear which device it is and then it happens so infrequently there is no point standing waiting to try and place the next beep....suggestions?

    Move house?

Only way is to catch it. Can you jot down the precise time it occurs... and see if there are exact times, or patterns? Then you can go in there a minute before until you nail it.

Wow. The bottle of spirits I bought at the airport on Thursday is like rocket fuel

Might have to save it for cleaning paint brushes.

DAB radio, hob, 2x microwave ovens, oven, fridge (not sure if this can beep), smoke detector that is just outside the room but I guess could be the cause, something else battery operated that hadn't even occurred to me...
