With the original minis, I can only get in by putting my left leg over the top of the steering wheel. The new ones are slightly easier to get into though.
In terms of comfort I'd be happy to drive it around the world...as long as someone resurfaced all the roads just before I leave and I had a support vehicle following me with some spare tyres.0 -

I've blatted one of these round Silverstone so have no doubt that it will handle just fine on the Road of Bones..
You know I would.:o
Mrs McT is a tad more practical however.
So we'll almost certainly end up with something like this.....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Not when they're fitted with a roll cage, racing seats and 5 point harnesses.
Trust me.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

I should have just got one of those instead of this house. I would have it painted Offensive Yellow though.0 -

As I'm discovering the hard way, the house might have been cheaper...“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Probably about once or twice a day something in our kitchen beeps, problem is when it beeps no one has their ear in the right place to hear which device it is and then it happens so infrequently there is no point standing waiting to try and place the next beep....suggestions?

That is serious hoarding!
He wanted to fix it. Frankly he has not the skill, nor the time. There is sentimentality, because it saved his life and it was his first car. He says he'd let it go to someone who wanted to fix it up now, hopefully for the buy back value, though I doubt it, but he makes no move towards doing this, time? Organisation? Probably. Also, not much motivation to do it while its tucked out of sight . Tbh, his decision and not my place to nag. He lets me get away with enough.0
