He wanted to fix it. Frankly he has not the skill, nor the time. There is sentimentality, because it saved his life and it was his first car. He says he'd let it go to someone who wanted to fix it up now, hopefully for the buy back value, though I doubt it, but he makes no move towards doing this, time? Organisation? Probably. Also, not much motivation to do it while its tucked out of sight . Tbh, his decision and not my place to nag. He lets me get away with enough. :D

It's actually very logical. I also have DIY projects that I have not quite got round to yet. There's a lamp that got damaged in the fire, needs rewiring. That's been waiting to get to the top of the list since 1997. A Landy is a bit bigger than a lamp, but if you have the space, there's no need to make an issue out of it.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I was looking for a new computer case, something a little unusual .... Those are amazing, particularly the last one on the page.

Honestly, if so done turned up who wanted it I'd be chuffed. Or who could fix it at a rate that made sense ( garage told us did n't make sense to get them to do it....but a tinkering guy might make sense, its mainly body work)

I like the steam punk aesthetic. Wahat is really love is how its enthusiasts really go for it. I find that really heartening.

The little borrowed car has to go back to its owner. Two days before the start of school! Problem.

OH gave me a card with a photo of 2 dogs on it. The alsatian says "Hey look, there's a Boomerang!" The other dog (not sure what kind - I'm not good on breeds) says "What's a Boomerang?" So you open the card and the alsation says "It's a stick for people who can't afford a dog!" <roll eyes smilie> :rotfl:
