I'd find a way, & golf clubs were fine, so roof down eos on a non-rainy day would do!
Might have to make 2 journeys, but that's fine by me.:)

I find it really hard to understand how he could have taken his own life. He's a major star, very successful, with everything to live for. Depression is such an ugly illness. He presumably just could not see how wonderful he was.
It is an illness that finds it's own triggers in each individual, manifests itself to the circumstances it finds itself in. There's too much of this "he was a a comedy genius therefore it was inevitable" stuff floating around at the moment but all we really know is that it can effect anyone, anytime, anywhere. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
On the depression side of things, well what jason Manford has posted on Facebook this morning...
"If you feel alone and down, anxious and low. If you feel deep sadness but can't find a root cause. If people tell you to 'snap out of it' or 'things can only get better' or 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger', know that it's simply not always true. Sometimes it does kill you.
Please seek help. No one will think you're being melodramatic, I swear. No one will think you're silly or wasting people's time. No one will say 'what? But you're always so happy, maybe you're just having a bad day'. For some people, every day is a bad day and they get through it, but sometimes they stop getting through it.
If depression can (allegedly) kill Robin Williams, one of the world's greatest funny men, well it can get any of us at any time. If the Genie from Aladdin can suffer and the DJ in Good Morning Vietnam can be affected by it, then so can you, or your child or friend or work colleague.
I always remind myself of the quote from Watchmen:
"Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life is harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world. Doctor says, "Treatment is simple. The great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says, "But doctor... I am Pagliacci."
Please. Ask for help. If you have no one or if you don't want to to tell them yet, then ring Samaritans on 08457 90 90 90 for someone to talk to, or talk to your GP.
The world needs you even if you don't think it does. I promise, we need you here, now."It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Totally normal.
I budgeted for £70 per month dual fuel.
After 2 months, I'm £120 in credit. No doubt that'll change as winter draws in.
First water bill was over £500, but I requested a water meter.
6 months then changed to £88.It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Perhaps £250 month for domestic fuel & power is normal
I've set up my DDs for about £70/month (I think) .... didn't take too much notice to be honest .... so it'll be a year before I really know what I spend. I don't expect to spend £70, but I won't know for awhile.0 -
I wanted some Pepsi, so looked it up on mysupermarket and it said I should go to Tescos ... so I went. They were out of stock. The second option was to go to Sainsburys, so I went, but the price on the shelf was different to what mysupermarket said - it was full price, so I left it. Back home, now, I just checked the Sainsburys website and it gives a special offer/lower price.
Bl00dy annoying.... out of Pepsi0 -

I don't think this is very MSE, driving around without buying any products.0
