I couldn't put a lot of you on a map. On another forum someone once put a map up with everyone's vague locations. It was a more popular thread and ended up with about 200 points, 3 relationships and a split that broke up the thread.
Didn't someone put us all on a map a few years ago?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I've got a vague recollection of that too: lots of dots vaguely near St Albans and one in Sydney :rotfl:(Aberdeen is near St Albans for me!).0 -
Today's doodle google is a tribute to Mr Venn, the founder of Venn diagrams. Very cool.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. If he's on a bicycle and I'm on a motorway I hope not!
Setting off any time now. Might be on radio silence depending on how the wifi works ( we're staying in a student house and don't know if it's available).

Enjoy your trip!
I'm determined to have a productive day. Not doing dissertation work as I'm fed up of it. But I do have to do this portfolio for the CIPD, so I think I'll get a chunk of that done.
Also job applications! Had a great day in London on Saturday with some friends so that's spurred me on a bit to get some more done. Really that's my main focus at the moment.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
I've enjoyed it but not as much as the opening ceremony. I'm heading up that way tomorrow. Will wave at chewey, wheezy, dg, maggieUK45 , bugslet , masomnia and allthessses, as I reckon I'm passing their gaffs in roughly that order.
Wish me luck!

Looking at some images from the CW games past weekend, it struck me once more how totally different the weather can be just a couple of hundred miles apart...we were walking Sunday afternoon in the Surrey hills near Chilworth and it was HOT. That pint of Peroni in the Percy Arms tasted so good.
Then on telly they were standing in thick raincoats watching the final events of the games.0 -

I know the Percy Arms very well. Not a bad pub as it goes.0 -

Yeah that was me, but then I got a stern telling off from PN because I cut her corner of Cornwall off the map, so I really couldn't be bothered anymore...:undecided0 -
