Are you talking about Kylie? I've seen her twice live and she was the consumate professional and pitch perfect. Not so much tonight, maybe her set up isn't good.

Nah they had some other Aussie singer doing the "please come to the next games section". The Gold Coast 2018 team put together what was quite possibly the most cringeworthy piece I have ever seen. Kylie is on now, singing a bit flat if you ask me. But then I'm tone deaf.

No, it was during the 10-15 minute promotional slot by the next hosts. She was clearly out of sync from the start.

Kylie is singing live and I'm enjoying a foot-tapping boogie to the Locomotion (haven't recognised most of her other songs).

I am yet hopeful for the Proclaimers - don't see why the concert element from Scotland needs to be completely by an Aussie (must as I'm enjoying it!)

Is there a remote control? Look for a button that says TV/Radio, and press it again.

I've enjoyed it but not as much as the opening ceremony. I'm heading up that way tomorrow. Will wave at chewey, wheezy, dg, maggieUK45 , bugslet , masomnia and allthessses, as I reckon I'm passing their gaffs in roughly that order.

    Wish me luck!

Fixed it, by pressing buttons I don't normally touch. Not got a light on here, so that'd have involved me getting up to turn a light on, then finding my glasses and putting them on, then squinting near to the lamp to read what the remote says .... easier to just press every button I don't normally touch :)

Maybe worth finding a torch app for your phone.

Got one... but the phone's not here... it's on the other side of the room, in my bag ... in the dark :)

As a general rule, I don't have lights on in the house ever.... no need. It's just me, I know where everything is, no need for lights.

Nikkster, how did you cook the courgette?

Griddled. Everything expect for the lettuce and tomato was griddled. Took a while (only a small griddle pan), but oh was it worth it :)
