I had an eBay buying spree. Bought an entire wing mirror unit for the car I've borrowed (a Citroen C1 for those wondering how I'd fit my family in something smaller than a MINI!)
Just picked up a lovely bike for DD - she's presently whizzing around the park. I can't keep up, so there's little point trying. Her skirt is sequinned, so she flints as she goes around. I'm having a sit down with Paulo Nutini
We had all you can eat sushi for tea. DD's choice.

I'd better not tell you how old I was in 1983 :eek:0 -
So, today, I was finally told (by the person supposedly buying my old car) that they won't be.
Annoyed, as I had a £50 repair done thursday.
However, I am now 99.99% certain I'll be driving to maidenhead tomorrow, to agree to buy a car & part ex-ing mine. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Well, I'm not sure whether Gen's angels would be dancing, but tonight's dinner is making my heart sing. And I don't think it's all due to the Pimms 9+ bottle of red that I've opened in honour).
{insert swear word of choice}. I liked courgettes before but my goodness this one is so sweet and delicious. I was only going to have half - but the other half I'd saved is now on my plate. The aubergine is also very nice and the runner bean - sweet and beany and not at all stringy. Even the flipping letttuce is nice.
I will remember this meal when my alarm goes off tomorrow morning.0 -

A German BMW dealer gave me a Lupo when we had problems with the 535d.
In fairness, I was expecting to have to rent a car from somewhere (the electronic handbrake decided to fix itself at 100mph and obviously needed work), but still, I'm giving them a BMW5, they should at least give something reasonable........💙💛 💔0 -

No, that was '84-85
Dinner is now over Chez Nikkster. Blimming heck that was good. The lamb was the side dish in that meal - could totally have skipped it.
Bring on the glut of courgettes, runner beans and (less likely) aubergines). I'm ready0
