I showed NDG a picture of the gig on Friday night she said ' fir looks very Jewish doesn't he' and I giggled.
.
One of the things that struck me this weekend is how much younger than his friends he looks ATM. I think its because he drinks less. The 'good looking one' of the group is still really good looking and lovely but slack around the jaw line now, and .....well, paunchy.
Still.....not as bad as me, lol!0 -

Free wine? Certainly free nibbles, possibly a free meal. Oh and 2" more legroom. We had the same, offered what I thought was a cheap upgrade, but I sussed it out through flyertalk first. Internal flights don't qualify for the lounge, I did mention that we could cross 6 countries in what they call an internal flight. Typically American its all about status and rewarding loyalty rather than what you pay.Lyd: Just for you, here is a re-run of stage 1 of my house makeover.
Missed it.

Does he have more hair? IMO keeping your hair makes you look younger, even more so if it isn't grey.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Put your sunglasses on, silvercar...
DEFINITELY looks darker on the swatch
And for the record it is 'Reminiscent of the bluish greens found on Persian pottery, popular china and in jewellery of the 1930s this colour is classic sophistication' (my underlining)0 -

He only has more hair than one, who has always has a shorn head for non bnp reasons.
But he has a lot of hair.
. He does have quite a few greys, but they don't stand out horrifically really. 0 -
Tiling in the downstairs toilet is going to be dark grey floor and light grey walls. With grouting to match. Question. Feature wall has dark grey mosaic tiles. Should the feature wall be grouted in light grey or dark grey? Mosaic tiles are 2" square not super tiny. Other tiles are 10" x 24" set out like bricks rather than in rows.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Nikks, Looks lovely, I like the balance of double fronted properties.
The colour looks good. The only other colour that may be worth considering is red.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. It's not an upgrade, we are going on a bit of a tortuous tour, that involves taking a flight from San Juan to Miami, transfering to another flight and then flying to another Florida airport. That's with American. We have booked Business Class for the better luggage allowance and because last time DH took an internal flight on American (coach) the crew didn't even bother to come round with anything (drinks, sales, food, snacks... nothing). They just stood in the back chatting.
The second flight is from Florida to NY. Again not exactly a short hop. This time with Delta.
So we haven't booked with the cheapo airlines such as JetBlue or Southwestern, and they are still cr*p. Plus last time I looked, Puerto Rico wasn't even a state in the US, so how that classes as an internal flight is beyond me. It's miles away! I could fly out of another Caribbean airport the same distance, and get lounge access as it would be classed as international, but SJ isn't. Bonkers.
And they wonder why we prefer BA (naturally) or Asian carriers where BA isn't available. Still, at least we get quite a lot of Avios points with one of the two tickets. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Cheers silvercar
My mum was particularly impressed that it is double fronted. Apparently she's always wanted a double fronted house.
Not keen on red - apart from deep red (which might be one of the colours in the living room). I agree it would probably suit the house, but it wouldn't suit me.
Just thought - the turq. will make it a little more challenging getting a glazed front door (if the glazing has any kind of coloured decoration). Hmmm...0
