Proof that Hertfordshire newspapers cover all of the main news issues of the day:

Penis embossed on Milky Bar, what next?

    http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co.uk/Hertfordshire/Penis-embossed-on-Milky-Bar-what-next-20140716120843.htm

I read that as Pen embossed on ....

Looked at teh chocolate bar..I see no pen.

I didn't see a Penis either when I had read teh article and looked again.

Phew! Compliment accepted in that case :) Garden was looking pretty much like that a couple of weeks ago - I'm mid way through taming the stuff at the front (again). The red hot pokers by the door look like they're about to invade the house though - they might be completely coming out very soon.

That's handy, I'm off the hook. It's what happen when you don't atch what you are typing properly. First part, wow, lovely house (paintwork and roof look sound, like the style etc)... go off, watch another race at the Commonwealths, come back, type about how much work you've done (meaning that the garden looks a bit overgrown in the pics but I know what work you've done since).

Sadly you and all the other NPs were expected to know that's what's going on in my scrambled brain. Oops.

On the subject of watching the Commonwealth Games, Hertfordshire's Max Whitlock now has three golds. Oh, and Jodie Williams, who has just got a silver and a PB in the women's 200m is from Welwyn Garden City. Go Hertfordshire!!!!

ATM I am obsessed with little greenes 'pearl colour', Comes in four? Shades of varying depth. I think its beautiful. Thinking of it for our master bathroom and if they still make it in the distant future, the attics and out buildings.

Hmmm. I don't really want any competent colleagues, might show me up...

I am sure you will knock them dead.

Remember to tell them you are a home owner, and walk in with a thrusting swagger.

Look and sound like a banker.

Remind me at some point and I'll post links (other place) to the pics from when the house was apparently up for sale 6 months before when I bought it (different EA).

    It's looking positively manicured now!

Another NP gift I was given today was a heart-shaped wire, encrusted with many, many, small white shells ... and hanging from a bit of "posh string" (there's probably a name for that).

I wanted to put it up, but there were no spare hooks on the walls, then I had a genius idea - and I've hung it in the window, suspended from the top-opener handle. That's great... it's visible from sitting here/inside and from outside - and, the drop distance is perfect for it to be nicely framed in the square window pane :)

Looks bloomin' marvellous :) All seasidey and "a bit posh" :)
