Wouldn't it cost a grand or two to even set it up, get a prototype, get a legal agreement .... although, to be frank, I've no idea what licensing would involve or where to go to even think about it.

I don't know but will try and find out. One thing I do know is that my mum would not have been able to tool up for things or make prototypes. I think more simply she saw it as coming up with good ideas and selling them to interested parties. They did all the legal, which I'm sure she was scalped over, but she saw it as money she wouldn't get otherwise. I don't think she's done any in the last 10 years though. If she has, she hasn't mentioned it.

Hang about! I thought I was the thread luddite! Is Pageplus still going? i last used it when DD was born. What's it's financial means of support ( sorry, business model) if it's still free?

The PagePlus I'm using was released less than a year ago. You buy it...

It's actually quite a powerful bit of kit.

CreativeCloud costs about £45 a month... for the things I need.

Really regretting not buying the yellow dress I saw on etsy two months ago.( or the silk one I liked better but was six times the price ...) My choice for tomorrow seems to me a torn skirt and a black sack.

I'm tired so black sack sounds simpler.

    Hey peeps!

For anyone interested, the bomb picture ended in the music room after all!

40 pages since I last logged in. Have I missed anything? Is a summary available perchance?

I've been visiting a friend in south wales, and since the return supporting a mate who recently joined the ranks of the unemployed sadly...

DD has brought home 3 baby swallows from the stables tonight. All found on the floor, no sign of parents, one other chick already dead.

I am not impressed that I may be expected to feed them as often as I can throughout the day tomorrow. I have some plans already.

Feeling rather mean, but spending the day squirting cat food into chicks is not my idea of fun. Nor is shopping for insects to feed them either.

What was she thinking when she agreed to 'save' them?

I might have to buy a load more joggers... for when I leave the house (incl. going to work).

I can't stop eating. Can't start writing either. If only I could work out how to swap those two activities round it'd all be fine.
    Bah.

Think I'll be setting my alarm early tomorrow.
