I'm tired. Tired in the way I cannot describe.

I need sleep. Got some cooking left to do and bed linen to sort out, and what ever I'm going to wear tomorrow night. ( seriously not funny ATM). Bad ankle might change its name to evil ankle.

I'm tired too. This hot weather does not help, plus sleeping with the windows open means we get easily disturbed.

    Have a hug from me.

Edit. Oh well, that should have been a hug.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I'm hot on the outside. The hot isn't leaving my skin as the surroundings are just as hot. Evaporation isn't happening. I'd be fine if I had a fan running all the time.

    I'm still tea-towelled :)

Tea towelled? Is that Cockney rhyming slang for something, or that's literally all you are wearing? Held on with safety pins?

I was cold last night. :(. Had horrid nightmares too.

Thanks for the hug. Have you been keeping curtains closed through the day to keep heat out?

I hope you get as much done as you want to, that you sleep well tonight and that your ankle is at worst bad rather than evil.

I'm sure your guests this weekend will have a fabulous time :)

I was home early today to meet builder-man. Then fell asleep on the sofa for a bit. Work to be done this evening though. Must try to concentrate...

You've just reminded me. I had a nightmare last night (or more likely this morning)....

All my tomato plants had completely disappeared. It wasn't my garden as it is here, but in my dream it was my garden. For some reason I'd been sleeping outside very close to the plants and I woke up and they'd all been taken by someone/ something. All the other plants were fine.
    Bizarre.

That is soooo 1985. What're you trying to do?

Something that should probably be done in Adobe CreativeCloud but:

    1. CreativeCloud costs a fortune and,
    2. It takes years to actually learn...

PagePlus can do everything I need it to do... but it's simply not anywhere near as good at it as Adobe CC would be.

How did you find the opening ceremony..?

Short. I fell asleep for a lot of it and woke up intermittently when there were loud noises. Apparently I woke up for the firework.

License the idea to someone else?

That's what my mum used to do. She invented a few things and would always license them rather than going down the patent route, thinking a grand or two (or sometimes more) would be better than nothing.

Sigh... looks like I've got a new learning project.

Actually getting to the point I can use Serif PagePlus to do what I want it to do is going to be a nightmare. I can tell.:(

Hang about! I thought I was the thread luddite! Is Pageplus still going? i last used it when DD was born. What's it's financial means of support ( sorry, business model) if it's still free?

And what memory units are people talking about in their computers? I'vebeen reading posts about having 1Mb of memory or 512kb? Is that out by a thousand? My old Mac SE had 1/4 Mb RAM and my first PC had a staggering 4Mb, but again that was two decades ago.

Wouldn't it cost a grand or two to even set it up, get a prototype, get a legal agreement .... although, to be frank, I've no idea what licensing would involve or where to go to even think about it.
