Iceburg 49p at Morrison's easily lasts a week.in the fridge.

The trouble with that is it involves faffing around to get to a Morrisons.... and, time aside, that adds 30p to the cost.

    :)

I like iceberg too, I like lettuce wraps. I wonder if we could have lettuce wraps this weekend, if RP would like them. Hmmm.

If you're taking your dad to the seaside.... will he spend the whole journey asking... "... are we nearly there yet...?"

Are we meant to be getting gales this far 'central south/east south west' this weekend ? Dunno. We're going to the beach anyway.

DH now says he definitely wants speedos. I really NEED that roll eyes smilie.

I remember. Last week I walked past a shop called 'Bank' there's a few in the midlands, not sure if it's National, but they definitely had tiny, 80s style shorts. I remember my mum's friend had identical ones.

Sittin outside my car watching a rather fit man from Iraq clean it for me. I can feel myself burning already!

BBC Breakfast at West Wittering beach. Second time in a week that they televise Locations talked about on the NP thread. Cool!

I have been there again this morning for about two and a half hours. It is such a beautiful beach.

When we bought this place we also considered a property at Sidlesham (near WW) but decided it was too far east. Probably would have been a better investment.

The weather was glorious..I even had a swim suit on and went in the sea with the dog. Dog is very tired and very happy. Admittedly it is hard to just lie down and do nothing when you have a dog with you. I had spread a picnic rug but didn't fancy lying on it once the dog had flopped down on it with his tennis ball.

Needed to get back to buy fish at the fish stall, and I have a podiatrist appointment at 3.30 so need to wash all of the sand off my tootsies.

I believe people who were eating it on the trial were reversing the signs of aging a little.

Why am I not eating watercress, its madness!

There are watercress beds a few miles away...I may scrump them.

    It will take a lot.

Lunch today for me, well brunch actually, consisted of a packet of tomatoes, half a cucumber, a tin of tuna, a splash of balsamic and a slice of toast. Followed by an apple. Sadly, two hours later, I am hungry again!

Just had some jelly that DD made. So, that's cancelled out the healthy lunch.

This has not been a very productive day. So far, I saw DW to the bus stop to go to work, took Doglet for a 90 minute walk round the Heath before it got too hot supposedly, but actually got incredibly sweaty, showered, went to the dental hygienist, got my hair cut, made lunch, ate it, tidied kitchen, made some work calls, and now suddenly it's 4pm. The mutt is out for the count.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Our idea of air conditioning is leaving the door ajar....

Too hot and I will probably have to wait awhile before going home, otherwise a slow commute home will more or less kill Poppy with her collapsed trachea - too much panting is not good.

    Far too hot:(
