I don't count paying my c/cards as spends, as I count when I actually use the cards. If I counted the other way I could use my card every day of the month and still only have 1 spend day...... actually, that sounds like a very cunning plan :rotfl:

Car's in the garage, and I'm about to try and do my largest ever A1di grocery shop on foot using a backpack! Vouchers have to be used today, and I don't want to risk the garage hanging onto the car meaning I have to do the shop on foot around tea-time when I'll be even more shattered than I am now. I won't be picking up the bottled water though (too heavy to carry), which is a shame as that would have made a nice dent into the £45 spend :o

Wow you must really like yankee candles!!!

One of my cc minimum payments went out by DD today...I don't count that...I only really count 'movable' spends. I overspent £50.30 on a clear cc last month - I agree with cw18 I only counted that once, the day I incurred the cost, not the day I cleared it

But I'd have counted when I used the card at the weekend to buy the candles, so it's not a spend I'd have ignored.
