So sorry to hear the bad news bitsy. I thought the job market was turning round:mad:. Hope something comes up really soon. I agree with trying to keep up the yoga at home, it'll help to relax you with the stressful situation.
Yay! to the Converse and floral trousers rosy!
Had another thought rummer, smoked salmon (while not very mse) is a lovely, low carb treat:).
I've had a lovely weekend finished up at a cinema showing of Monty Python live from the O2 so.......

Have you tried the peanut butter and banana "ice cream"?
Peel and roughly chop and banana and freeze
When frozen, leave to defrost for 10 minutes or so then use a stick blender and blend till it looks like ice cream.. You can add in a teaspoon if peanut butter, some vanilla essence, or some cocoa powder.
It's bl00dy lovely :rotfl:
Bananas are in the freezer as I typeNever tried this before but I am looking forward to it! How long does it take for them to freeze?

Bitsy Beans so very sorry. I hope something comes along soon.
LL sorry to hear you are feeling a bit low. Could you be worn out and deflated after the whirl of activity with your husband and the bungalow? Enjoy your film
I have to confess to be totally off the rails at the weekend. Yesterday I spent the whole day lazing around, reading and eating loads of chocolate biscuits. Like Rummer also doing previous eating patterns for meals I am a comfort eater and stressing about my DD who has health, employment and accommodation issues and is 500 miles away. Back on the rails today, been out today and bought a very healthy food shop and kicked started the day with a green smoothie. I forgot food for the cat, so will need to pop out again and then I am going to do some gardening and my exercises. OH slowly progressing with the bedroom. One more gloss coat to go on the woodwork tomorrow and then the lining paper can go up.
Wishing everyone a more positive fabbing week0 -
Hi All
Hugs to LL and Bitsy, sounds like you both need them.
Rosyq, glad to hear your new shoes make you happy.
I have had a hectic weekend, DD's birthday so a huge family bbq on Saturday evening, Friday night I was at a Golf Club do and yesterday we went into town with the birthday girl so busy, busy, busy!
I did manage a short run last night (just my 30min circuit), tried out my new running shoes (very MSE, reduced from £110 to £13!), they are great, I definitely ran further this time and walked less! Then home for a hot bath, defuzzing, moisturising and facial!
My order from the Next sale has arrived so I will see if I am keeping anything and return the rest. Even one new top seems to give the old wardrobe a boost!
Have a FAB day ladies!

Thank you
A friend came to visit today and it was lovely to chat and catch up on each others news. This week is a busy one for me and I am making a real effort to look fabulous for each event!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Well that's it, bungalow now cleared and cleaned. I was under pressure to meet tomorrow's deadline in handing back the keys so just had to keep going despite feeling desperately tired.
I still have loads to do at the new house of course but at least the work is not time sensitive. I'm going to have a few days rest now and then I'll be fine.
I still need to get my builders back to finish some outstanding works but I'm going to have a couple of weeks break first.
Definitely time for some fabbing and some TLC, some gentle exercise and some nice healthy meals. Had a nice lazy evening - watched The War Horse.
I have a meeting at mums nursing home tomorrow. I'm not too happy with the care she is receiving so time for a bit of sabre rattling. My sister and my dad have been a bit reticent about voicing their concerns.
I am not quite so squeamish ......If they don't buck their ideas up then heads will roll :rotfl:
After that it's time for me ....
Rummer - sounds like you are doing really well. Good to see you enjoying the fruits of your efforts.
G'night all x0 -

I hope that they listen to your concerns and make the appropriate changes to her care. It is so important that you are happy with the care your loved ones receive, it is just a shame that you have to ask for improvement.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
The next couple of weeks are going to see a lot of changes for me. I have come far in the fabbing stakes however I feel I need to make some significant changes and I am going to take the time to decide exactly how I want my life to look and to make it happen.
I have been happily coasting along which has been fine up until now however there are things that I want to do and to achieve and that is not going to happen if I don't make some changes. Lots of thinning and planning ahead!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0
