    Well done Valli!

Been to cricket, my of my it was cold, like April. Think the petrol indicator thing is playingup on my car. Will fill it tomorrow and see how much it takes and if that solves it.

Need a snack and to get DS3 to bed, will be following close behind, very tired. Only laundry done today.

Thanks bossymoo and really well done Valli! :j:beer:

Sorry for the size of the pics coming up but don't know how to make them smaller... here is what I made the degus instead of putting the box out to recycle! They love it :T

It was really hard to get a good picture of them playing with it because I shut it for added fun! The sawdust has seeds and barley flakes hidden throughout and the tubes are stuffed with hay and teeny pieces of fruit!

And because I couldn't get a good picture of them playing in their "castle" here is a picture of them sunbathing on their swing earlier :A

Evening all, afraid I have been a bad flylady :( I have done absolutely nothing on the list..oops!!! Not even sure what I can say to justify the last couple of days..today I can justify it. I started my new long term therapy early this morning and it drained me more than I realised..ugh 18 months of this FUN...NOT!!! Then another 2 years in another placement unit..woopeee doo!!! I'll never ever want to see a mental health professional again after this round of therapy...well that's the plan anyway

Little Kiwi, the devil kitten, has had a growth spurt finally and seems to be catching his sister, Summer, up - although there is a year's difference between them :D He is growing upwards rather than outwards..bless him!!

Piggers your two little squirts are adorable and are growing up so so quickly..

Elsie your dagus's are so cute, although until I saw the picture I did wonder what a dagus was when you mentioned you used your recycling for them. I was thinking it was something to do with Star Trek at one point...lol

Thanks Natty! I know "rodents" aren't to everyone's taste but degus are lovely little animals - they are very intelligent and mine already come when I call their names! And they make the loveliest little noises when they talk to each other. They have something like 13 different types of vocalisations!

Sorry to hear therapy was hard - things like that I always think that means it's working - whatever the context!

Looks like huge fun Elsiepac (I had a wonderful Great Aunt Elsie who I adored, so I love your name) and if decluttering, dejunking and recycling gives other creatures that much fun, how could anyone not? Btw, if your digital camera does video-ing, it's probably just as easy to upload to y0utub3 and give us a link to them playing.

Huge congratulations Valli. You've earned it and you deserve it.

    Bossy
, I'm happy to cover for the last two weeks of the June/July Challenge, as long as Lamewolf would be willing to take PMs from me if I need her expertise and can't commit that far in advance because dog-sitting commitments come up at the last moment. She's been at this whole Forum thing for a little while longer than me and I completely bow to her seniority.

Speaking of which, Lamewolf, my writerly OH was looking for another word for things witches might hang in trees to ward off 'the evils,' and I said I'd ask the only expert I know, so ... if you've got a moment ....

, if you think finding a Christmas ornament a mere six months after Christmas means you're in the wrong place, you really aren't a proper Flylady. Finding it makes you an apprentice Flylady. I'm still hankering after the trainee Flylady who said newbies have to wear tabards with a P on the front, because I need a new one because mine is so tatty and I figure she knows where to get them made cheaply. There are places in this house that have never been dusted (like behind some radiators) and I've been here 21 years.

Hugs, Natty. Being better is better than being unwell, and healing is sometimes painful but always worth it. Please hang in there and know you are safe with people who care about you.

Two boxes of 'stuff' dragged down from the attic with a view to the bay of e getting a few entries. I'm following Pigpen's spring cleaning push and getting rid of stuff.
    Better is good enough.

I have had a long day at work and after kids had gone to beD at 7pm I had to write some reports for a deadline at work tomorrow. Finished at 9.30 so just tidied up the kitchen, put dw on, emptied washing machine and put clothes on airer, put some clothes away and gave the table a good clean including the legs and underneath. So nothing done off today's list. I am going to do Tuesday's list tomorrow and ditch Wednesday this week. Our bedroom is looking very respectable from last week so will just give it a quick whiz over!

    Well done, Valli :T

Hang in there, Natty. We're all rooting for you.

Glad you've got plenty of canine company, LW.

As far as proper flying goes, I have only done WMx3 today. I also ran unit 1 of the course this afternoon (it went quite well), did the shopping, and have spent 2 hours this evening at a not-very-well-organised meeting.

The SW scales show that I put back 1/2 lb during our long weekend away :( Could have been worse though - DH put back 3 lb. I did warn him about the beer...

I am off out for the day tomorrow, courtesy of Cross-Country trains. 5 hours' travelling for 3 hours' catching-up time with a friend! I need to get to bed soon, if I'm going to be up in time!

Skinty, here are some extra long sticks for your BD.

Right sleep time nighty night...don't let the bed bugs bite, and if they do bite, don't worry hoovering the mattress is on the list for tomorrow :rotfl:

PS I forgot to credit DD1, who has been a godsend helping look after DD4 and passing stuff to me as I have been scrabbling about in the backs of cupboards.

Kettle has had a descale. Patio door frame in the kitchen have had toothbrush treatment with a vinegar concoction, all v@xed out and wiped down

Also all 3 toilets have had a v@x to remove all the water, then a deep scrub with half a lemon and bicarb to remove all the limescale, main bathroom taps and shower cubicle and shower trap have had their own half lemon and bicarb treatment. Downstairs loo cupboards buffed and shiny, sink and tiles S&S, main bathroom cupboards buffed and floor swept and mopped.

WM was making a funny noise, EX found I had a small stone in the pump on Sunday, which he removed, the resulting water on the floor meant I have cleaned the floor behind all the appliances in the utility.

Caught up on most of family washing once WM was sorted, erected DD2 whirligig she brought back from Uni, so I now have two in the garden, plus I have had 3 maidens loaded with washing outside yesterday. Rusted trampoline and garden gibble taken to dump plus 30 minutes weeding done in 5 minute chunks. I knew I had done lots, I just couldn't remember

Airing cupboard all neatly stacked with towels Anthea style. Pinterest idea of soaking small towel in neat fabric softener and hanging to dry in bathrooms as a air freshener seems to be working.

I don't think there was any more, but I promise to get some rest now  see you tomorrow!
The cold never bothered me anyway
