Afternoon flypeople. I took flylady advice today and ate a frog as soon as I got out of bed. The TV is now working. I've also taken and submitted the leccy and gas readings, sorted out changing a bank account and got all other paperwork pretty much up to date. Just have 2 frogs left (write a will and make sure contents insurance is sufficient) and only 2 days to debt free day.....!

Dusty - I'm ok if you change the lists. I like change.

I hope everyone is having a great day. I'm about to get my two canines off the sofa by tempting them with another walk.

Guest rooms changed and s/king ready for niffy Lodger with synthetic duvet and bed linen that will be 'let go' at the end of his stay, cheaper pillows that haven't been washed and the lamps changed so the ones that are fleab'y listed are safe. Clean tar marked bathmat returned to shower room.

WM churning away with second load and first load out on the lines. I'll do a couple more loads tonight because it's going to be dry overnight and hot tomorrow. I think I've got about seven loads to get done in total, plus a couple of handwash tops and not enough line space for it all unless I can get some dry overnight and early tomorrow.

A friend is taking his ship to sea at 7.00 pm tonight, so OH and I are going up to Smeaton's Tower to wave him and the crew off. He says he may even sound the ship's whistle - I lead such an exciting life! OH is then cooking me a risotto, because he is a Good Bloke.
    Better is good enough.
  • Thanks Dusty - that sounds really interesting - as an inveterate coaster - please count me in! I need a kick.... - I mean motivating, please!!

I'm back after a very hectic and very long three days but we are all very satisfied with what we've achieved - even though I spent most of today defrosting, cleaning and drying out a severely frosted fridge freezer!! Luckily the threatened rain didn't hapen at an important time and DS is now esconced happily in his new home.

Just off to bed so will look forward to getting cracking with whatever you have planned next week.

    Take care everyone. x
