Bonnie, good to see you again!
Nicki, I meant to say earlier, I bought DD Dr Martens at Easter and they have lasted very well. She'd been through 2 pairs in 6 months so if they last more than 18 months, we'll have broken even.
Car fixed, they've washed it and hoovered it too
Remembered that I needed to google what the problem is with my sewing machine. I have some more ideas now so will have a look next week.
Did loads today. Shattered now!
Any idea where to get decent hangers from? Not massive ones but need to be able to hang jeans from them.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

Sorry can't remember but think it is Nicki ? trying different colours for living room . 'DIY list - 1st colour patch test is just drying so I can decide whether I want the livingroom red or notIts such a hard room to decorate as one end is really light and the other is really dark' I would be careful using red as it can cause emotions to run high and create an argumentative aura.
Greens and creams are calming colours. You can always use different shades - lighter and darker - at different ends so long as same base ie some creams are pink based, some yellow etc. Hope that's useful. My smilies still don't work (apart from these 2)
Mine haven't worked for months !! If you click on the [more] at the bottom of the smilies and expand, you will find all the input codes for them. Just make a note of the ones you like to use often and you can always look again for the unusual ones hthmummyroysof3 wrote: »Smear and jab done and my weight loss stands at 1 stone 2 now. Morning all.
Been up on and off since 5 with a poorly little girl. She is so tired and ratty and it's set her asthma off so not sure I'll get much done other than lots of cuddles.
Yesterday i managed to spend an hour and half in our br, sorted through my wardrobe and found a pile of dd3 clothes (no idea how they got there), sorted through some of the bedding that's been stored in there, got a couple of sets no longer needed and dd's took their shawls for their dollies (I will get them back when I can as want to keep them) then I tried on every item of clothing... I am left with 2 crop trousers, I skirt, 5 tshirts and a pair of jeans! I've got a bag for charity and dd1 has some skirts and a dress. Couldn't believe the dress fit her, she is 13 and a tiny little thing, I have pictures of me in the same dress at 18. So some of the bits she has had are at least 15 years old!
Right dd3 is demanding breakfast and a drink so I better get up and get something done, hoping to do dh wardrobe today and then I can start on the floordrobe (it's a huge mountain of clothes).LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Have turned out my larder cupboard, moving sugars (which I rarely use) down to the lowest and least accessible shelf and pasta, rice, couscous etc (which I use almost every day) up to waist height where they are much easier to reach. It took me less than 5 minutes

Hmm. Now I'm worried about the paypal thing. If I change it in the listings to cash on collection, does that put me at greater or lesser risk from buyers? I'm going to follow your advice and get everyone who collects stuff to sign for it, Pigpen, but is that enough protection in your opinions, experienced Fleabayers? I'm not sure I'm far enough down the road to list 200 items in a weekend, Kazw, inspirational though that idea is. Do you think they'd be likely to do it again in a month's time? That would be perfect.
The panels are lovely, Mrs MP. Clearing a load of stuff out of the attic will mean I can finally dig out all my cross-stitch stuff. You've inspired me!
Lovely to see you back, Bonnie. You have been missed. I hope the year gets better for you.
Chalet changeover today and then the two chaps leave the house tomorrow and niffy Long Term Lodger moves back in tomorrow evening. Note to self: get cheap synthetic duvet and cheaper fevver pillows down from the attic. And remove items listed on the bay of e from his room before they get broken.Better is good enough.0 -
I've never had an issue with collectors.. other than them not turning up!
If you list 200 things you could stagger the finish and if they don't sell extend to 10 days. Though you could do 50 or such .. I once listed 1000 things and we went on holiday.. I can home to nearly £500 of sales! lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning all
Washed up so far and watered one lot of tomatoes so far.
Friend coming in an hour so going to see what I can get done before then.
Honey i've never had aproblem with collection, I prefer cash but have accepted paypal without problem before. Make sure comms are through the ebay system when arranging times. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Cuppa slurped.. Squeak is asking if OH will take her ice skating tomorrow lol.. she was a PITA on Wednesday when he took both girls so we are considering Dot going on Wednesday and Squeak Sunday.. they have super cheap toddler sessions. TBH I want them both swimming too but the sessions are not so accessible, over school times for example.. and I hate swimming so OH would need to do 3 lots of swimming.. we will sort something I guess.
Off to kick DS3 to bring his laundry down as it is smelling in his room and I've not had any of his school uniform for 2 weeks!!
DD3 can be kicked out of bed and she can strip the girls beds I think.
DD2 and DD3 can clear and vacuum the front room so I can get in there to chuck a cabinet at my sister and reshuffle some stuff again.
I'm going to get some ebay pics done.. I have an enormous box of stuff needs to be gone.
OH can watch the 3 girls and whineLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
