In that case do you really think you are ever going to see your money again.

would be less stressful to forget it.

My experience echoes others in the posts above. For the sake of £50 (I ordered two), it's not worth the hassle of court proceedings to try to get money out of folk who are so deeply in debt. I've written twice in the past month and received no response. Time to stop banging my head against a wall.
  • You can take them to the small claims court, which can be done online and cost about £35 I think. This money can be recovered as part of your costs and compensation.

Google Money Claim online UK for a link as the forum won't allow me to post links.

My patience has run out with Eggxactly and I am fed up with their lies.

Last update I got from them was March 2014 then nothing. So no replies to any of my numerous emails. I find it insulting and totally out of order.

I have emailed them a final time this morning threatening court action. If I don't hear anything very soon I will be making court proceedings.

It took a while but I got my refund. If you paid by card start a chargeback claim with the card company before going to Small Claims. That is what seemed to accelerate the process for me

I have also now (finally) received my money back.

Had an email from Dotty Seddon the day before my Small Claim was due to progress to judgement - then refund plus costs paid straight into my bank account.

I do wish them well even after all this mucking about, and hope they've learned the lesson that communicating effectively with your customers is paramount. Let's just say I'm not holding my breath for the product to reach the market...

Just come across this thread with interest.

I too ordered one last year, but I've not bothered contacting them or chasing things as historically things have moved at a glacial pace.

Wishing them the best in getting things done - they just have to improve their communications, even if it is just by website, rather than individual email. They'd certainly have more people on side with regular updates, even if it was taking forever.

I'm going to carry on sitting it out as I'm not really fussed either way.

Improve their communications is a little on the generous side ...
  • I was prepared to pay the money for a 'maybe' less than perfect product but they did promise us it was for a product not just a kick starter - for those asking why.

I emailed a week ago and have heard nothing. Will try again.
Has anyone ever found a better email address? Thanks
  • I used email address support@eggxactly.com, I have received a reply before, this time I emailed asking for an update on 12/08/2014 also asking why don't they update people either via the website or a group emails, but sadly no reply. How F****** rude.

This reminds me to try again, will post any reply.
  • What became of the "Eggxactly" egg cooker. The company which you supported along with Peter Jones some 8 years ago does not appear to be doing anything.- got the following reply quite quickly:

Very strange. The investment did not proceed after James Seddon decided to back out. Richard was unaware that it is even on the market or accepting orders?

No reply to 2 emails sent just asking for an update.

I now think that the tester orders were just to get more funds in so that the company could continue to trade and get this product to market, which hasn't happened.

Looks like my money has gone down the drain, now if they had at least updated and not taken me for granted I would be happy to wait. I think they have taken money by deception.
