I've got a date tonight, going to her place, but I'm quite nervous. Advice?

Jeez, look on it as a bonus shag, and just look for someone your own age.....:wall:

Bad sex nights happen to many, but it doesn't take over life......

    Lin ;)
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

True. I'm too !!!!!!! emotional about things. I haven't dated for so long that I really wanted to get to know this woman, and expected too much I guess, especially considering she had kids, it was crazy of me to think that anything serious would happen. I think I have just been too stubborn/delusional in my thinking and believed seriously that something would come out of this. I text her about 20 mins ago, but feel a bit idiotic now doing that. Like people said I should just take this as a learning experience.

For future reference you don't get to know people by shagging them 5 minutes after meeting them then exiting at speed.
    That's a different transaction entirely.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Thanks for advice, people. I really appreciate it. Just know that I'm not a troll, just a bit naive/inexperienced.

Why awfully convenient? I only know that the eldest is 16 and the youngest is 11, but think the other daughter is early teens.

There isn't anything wrong with my head. It is just that i've had no idea what is going on between us, that is why my head is all over the place. She said she wanted to see me again, but then goes all quiet.

I have been trying to prove i'm being serious, but everyone dismisses what i say, so there's no point trying any longer. I will just have to text or call her later, if she doesn't answer/reply then I will draw a line in the sand of this situation.
nothing wrong with your head... 2 lines later... My head is all over the place. It's ok to feel like that. But perhaps ( giving u the benefit of the doubt ) she's picked up on your anxieties and decided that she doesn't want the extra work. Sort yourself out first.

You cannot commit to 3 children. End of. That's your words. You cannot have something serious with her without her kids. That's life.

Again benefit of the doubt given.

I feel sorry for the woman. You've made her out to be a right trollop.
Don't forget, it takes two to tango. You are just as guilty of being easy!

I haven't made her out to be that bad, have I? I wouldn't have minded seeing her again, if just for sex, as it was still an enjoyable night, if not for me being in that much of a mood for it. It was nice being physical with someone after all this time.

I just meant that a lot of people on here are talking about me needing professional help, but I don't need that at all. I am mentally okay, but sometimes I am just a little emotional about things, it doesn't mean I need professional help!

I probably can't commit to 3 kids and I honestly have no idea if she was married or whether she had an ex like she said

Professional help can be just dealing with anxiety. Doesn't mean ur crazy.

And I don't think there's any probably. U can't support her and 3 kids with no job.
