Sky September increases 2014

Why don't you call cancellations and downgrade to Sports 1 only?
You will still get Sports 5 for Champions League included for free (like Sports 3 used to be in the old days) and you will be saving about £10 per month from September.
Because that would mean losing my 50% 12 month discount."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
I am on the Sky 25th Anniversary offer, 25 months for £25/month.
I've had an email stating that my charge will increase by £4 a month.
Can someone confirm if this is correct or a mistake?
It doesn't state anywhere in my T+Cs that the price is subject to any increases. As far as I'm aware, it was £25 for 25 months.0 -

With people who have 50% / 60% discounts, I agree with you. All correspondance I have had from Sky has been worded to make sure it is a % discount, and that packages start 'from' a certain price.
However if it was advertised as £25 for 25 months rather than x% off, and the Ts&Cs make no reference to any increases allowed I think it would be worth querying it.0 -

To clarify - I have a fixed price of £25/month.
It doesn't state '65% off' or 'half-price' for 25 months (even the '25 months' is fixed). However if it was advertised as £25 for 25 months rather than x% off, and the Ts&Cs make no reference to any increases allowed I think it would be worth querying it.
That's what I'm thinking...0 -
The offer page has been taken down, but this FAQ is still available: https://staffiaf.sky.com/2525-celebration-offer-end/faqs/0

Have you got a link to the Ts&Cs? Or if the offer has been taken down, maybe try and find a cached page on Google?0 -
I have the original 'invite' card at home given by my friend who works at Sky.
I'll check it again for the T+Cs and see what it states.0 -
