She is pregnant two tests have confirmed it. I had bought nappies ect but bf talked me into taking them back as would give dd wrong impression

No, your wind-up fell apart as you can't remember which lies you told.

People use this site for genuine advice. People like you, abusing it for amusement, should be ashamed.

. . Continue to nurture her and her body, make sure the little bits of laundry you do go back smelling of fab/cond not smoke but stand back and let her work out who can look after her best

Not strictly advice on the situation, but in regards to the above.

No one, not even me, can manage to get my clothes smelling & feeling as lovely as my mum did. I used to just smell them & think of her looking after me & loving me so much - sorry if I haven't explained that very well, it's just such a strong memory. Whenever I smelt it, I just wanted to be home with her. Even at age 22 on holiday in Ibiza! I'd give anything to be able to have that again now.

OP, don't underestimate the power of the little things. Whatever happens, Just be there for her. X

Edit to add: just seen all the hoax replies???? What's going on?

  • I don't know why everyone thinks this is a hoax, 16 year olds getting pregnant for council houses seems to be a common thing now

On the very slim chance that you are genuine, take the good advice you've been given.

Your daughter seems to have had a very troubled few years. Is it possible that maybe she holds you responsible for what she suffered at the hands of your ex-partner and isn't likely to take your advice because of that distrust.

Mend your relationship as best you can without demanding she does what you want.

btw...if you dislike her b/f so much as you claim to do, why would you let him dictate to you to take the nappies back ? and what 'wrong impression' could it possibly give your daughter ? Totally bizarre :(

I took it to be the OP's BF who had advised returning the nappies.

The quicker any government get to grips with the benefit system a lot of teenage pregnancies will stop,a free house or flat and money into the bank every fourteen days for nothing, its a hard life not working for a living.
All the politicians know what the majority of people think but for some reason frightened to stop the gravy train, its about time the workers and young girls WHO do not get pregnant get some type of benefit.
