please help 16 and pregnant

Thanks double mummy that is a great help. I'm desperately worried and it's hard to step back but I will. Cried myself to sleep again last night my bf stayed last night so I'm up with his 4 year old as it's his weekend got loads of exams this week so I'm going to try and focus on that.

I have started buying nappies ect and keeping them here saying it's cause dd doesn't have room but really it's so they can't sell it. I told her I will take her pram shopping with her maternity grant when she gets it.

Trying to be careful with my money atm but will give her her cb in toys r us vouchers and I won't say it but they don't sell fags and cider there x

if you dont want to do a supermarket how about boots much more baby stuff available there she can get formula and nappies and things that could really help rather than stuff on offer at toys r us

i know its hard but you have to stop doing things your way and involve her with every decision you are making about things for HER child - if you buy something for the baby like nappies you have to let her decide what to do with them

Why not tell your daughter that you will keep the things at your house for the time being ...in case they do get the "new house" so that she won't have to keep moving them - and that way they won't smell of cigarette smoke as she doesn't have much room at the B/f's flat ;-)

Isn't it early to be buying things like nappies? It also comes over as if you're trying to take over - won't she want to choose which nappies she uses for her baby?

I'd put some money aside but not buy anything yet.

I was thinking of gift card save them up to give to her she can still buy what she wants and nappies as it's a essential and not much difference between type. I have said I will keep at mine cause of the room. She asked me to take her to ikea to buy furniture I said she is best to wait as the lounge is now a bedroom for 2 people x

okay so this changes things a bit

have you had actual conformation she is pregnant? does she have her green notes or scan appointments or midwife appointments or anything?

anything under 20 weeks you are really jumping the gun she can change her mind any time up until that point

the child benefit money has to be to support your daughter not her child (been having a research for you) so toys r us is absolutely out as most likely is boots clothes or food something along those lines https://cards.asda.com/student-shopper-card/about something like this might work well i dont think you can use it on the tobacco but might be able to use it for alcohol

I'm confused, sorry. Do you mean she's had the implant out for 6 weeks? Or did she have the implant put in 6 weeks ago and fell pregnant on it? Is she going to have the implant removed? Are you sure it was actually put in?

I agree with the suggestions that it's too early to be buying things, a lot of people wait til 20 weeks or later, why don't you wait til then and by then you'll have a clearer idea of where she will be living.
