Due to no sleep for three nights and being in a fair amount of pain I have spent this morning looking at future budgets rather than doing anything more physical. I have followed the Frugal Living challenge this year but haven't been as frugal as I could. After working out my annual costs I was shocked. The fight is on to pay off all the debts and half my annual costs if possible while still living.

Also I realised that I have a lot of weight to lose and had a real reminder of how much last night. Yesterday I dug up 19lbs of pots and the bag was heavy. I have 2 1/2 times that to lose. I was very, very shocked. I have started C25k recently but have really been struggling with my stamina (I have none). I have decided to do week one for a few weeks while doing The shread then work up from there.

I must try to get some stuff done this afternoon or I will feel I have wasted the day.

    Roll on Friday....payday.

  • I hope you manage to get some sleep tonight it's horrible when you have little ones too as you still have to function, don't beat yourself up about the weight loss just change one thing a day and build it up - it will come!

Keep going, you're doing so well.

    Thank you chrysalis.

He is a good little boy, no trouble really so easy to look after.

I thought I was heading for another night of sleeplessness but managed to get off eventually. I keep waking up though and jumping out of bed in a panic. I think I'm getting stressed about going back to work next week.

I'm going to get back into the exercise today. I don't like what I see in the mirror and think it's time to look after me again. A little reinvention may be fun too. Mid life crisis....me....never.

Payday :j but paid out for lots of bits so the account is looking a little sparse.

I'm trying to get the decluttering and small jobs head back on but I'm not feeling the love for it today.;)

I have been a bit naughty. I washed my work bag and two of the handles came off. Unfortunately I can't repair it so had treated myself to a new one. I do need to carry paperwork, tablets, etc so need something spacious and its something which isn't the height of fashion so will last a long time. It's nice though.

Tea soon then into DS's bedroom as its a state. Some will be bagged up for the charity shop, he can only play with so much. Mean mummy.

  • It's amazing how toys breed isn't it, it seems like we're decluttering every few weeks!

Today my mood matches the weather. Dark and rainy........back to work tomorrow.:( and its training week:mad::eek:. At least my bag is ready and not the usual rush looking for stuff.

I give up, its impossible to use a touch screen on the bed with a four year old bouncing.

Right sitting on the floor. I cant type now.DS's bedroom tidied and he has promptly messed it up again. Little toad. Also some decluttering done. I wanted this cone before heading back to work but alas no. A big difference though which is good. It's going to be an ongoing project.

DS starts school next Monday so I have Mondays and Fridays to get work done on the house. I think the bathroom is possibly going to be the first big project.

After tea though I'm going to get his uniform name tags done.

Time to check to see what is dry and can be swapped for wet washing.

  • Hope you had a good day back at work, I feel so much better packing my bag the night before, lunch made and clothes ready so that the morning can be as relaxed and stress free as possible. Having said that I wonder how many days it will be before the kids can't find their shoes in the morning sending us into a panic just before setting off!

    Must allocate school shoe zone!
