I'm going to update figures later when I get chance to redo them.
Today is a big throw out and sorting day. Well after visit to mother in laws and shopping in town. I can do some before hand though.
I'm trying to tidy the sitting room first which somehow has been filled with toys. Little monkey. I want to get that done before I go out. Oh and the stairs cleared of stuff.
I have to spend today.my frying pan has had it, everything just sticks. I have had it 13 years though so not a frivolous spend.

Days left 127
Balance left £1392.11
Minimum daily amount needed to clear £10.96
I have been having a bit of a think today. I'm really enjoying paying down the debt and I think people on here just want zero debt asap whatever it takes........and that's great, I want to as well. But, the big butt (and not the one following me around) I realised today that I'm no longer in the position where I can't meet my monthly payments. Now that know its best to overpay to cut the interest, which I want to keep doing, but I have loads of small stuff which needs doing on the house such as repairing windows and painting them, repairing guttering, etc but I can't do this AND keep overpaying at the rate I am.
I need to get these jobs done before wintet to try and stop further deterioration and it ending up costing much more money. I think I'm going to have to forfeit some repayment money each month to do these jobs which means not reaching my debt free by birthday target.:( I need to start living like a normal person again and these jobs have been worrying me so it has to be done. This poor house has been so neglected for the past 8 years and it desperately needs some love again.
I'm still aiming for Christmas though.:xmastree::santa2:
Edited to say.....

Morning, just.
Struggling with motivation today. I had a lie in and didn't get up until nearly 8am and have a banging headache now. The weather is really heavy round here at the moment. Warm but wet. Perhaps there is a storm brewing.
I have done the ironing though and will put it away in a minute.
The kitchen looks like a tip but DH is cooking lunch and I'm on washing up today so I will do it afterwards as he can be a messy cook.
I really need to sort the sewing/craft room once and for all. I can't stand the clutter much longer. I have decluttered a bag of stuff back to mums though this morning...a new jug and can opener. I have two of each so I sent them back. She has a habit of buying carp and leaving it in my house when I'm not in so I have started sending it back. Gets on my nerves to be honest because as soon as she knows I'm trying to sort out the house or go on a diet she leaves fills the house with clutter or chocolate.......or weight watchers junk in a box which really p1sses me off. To top it off the fish I got my DS for his birthday last week have given birth.......even the fish are at it, cluttering up the tank.
Right now cup of tea and some bin bags and I will get started if it kills me.
I'm hoping for a nice day tomorrow so I can spend 3 hours sorting the garden while DS is at nursery.

Hello Parsniphead - tis me! No mystery here though. I love to read the diaries and subscribe to lots but that doesn't give me much time for commenting. I couldn't just read and run though - that would just be rude. So I always say 'thank you' for the inspiration and to let people know I'm still here willing them on.
My diary is here if you get the chance to drop in https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4068401

Ah thanks fortune smiles. The diaries are so addictive. I'd get more done if I wasn't so nosey.
I found yours yesterday, so inspirational too. One day when I grow up I want to be a MFW.
By the way, I was just messing about. I don't expect you to comment but its nice to hear from you.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

A lovely morning so some time in the gargen is calling. It's an absolute tip and needs a thorough going over so best to get it done while the small one is at nursery this morning.
I'm getting a bit confused with all the updates here and there with money and have decided to pare it down a little. I have been on Pay Off All Your Debt by Christmas for a couple of years so will stick to that one but that's it. By the time in have updated here there and everywhere half the day has gone.
I will also keep updating things done on here as I'm finding it very motivating. Never got past four days on any sort of diary before.
I have just realised its a five week month next month so its got to be a very frugal one. I got paid last friday and dont get paid again until 31st July. Also I'm on holiday for a week. Self catering in a caravan though tends to be a frugal affair with the odd chippy supper thrown in.
I have also had another Christmas gift delivered this weekend so that's going well. I'm determined to make this year the year that changes my life, not only with money but by being more organised.
Right off MSE and into the garden.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

I keep posting. I think I want to get off page 13.......
I had a really good morning in the garden and feel that I have made a massive debt in it. The green bin is full to bursting and the wheelbarrow is overflowing. I feel so much better.
I need to keep this up this afternoon and sort some more rubbish out in the house. I think I will challenge myself to get the table cleared and also DS,'s debroom tidied. I
He needs some storage so I think I will pop and get something this afternoon.
Really motivated today, shame its work tomorrow.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Woo today. Only three days per week so I shouldn't moan but I would love to carry on from yesterday. I break up at the end of next week for seven weeks so I REALLY shouldn't grumble. I have loads of paperwork I need to clear before then so I will put my motivation towards that.
The garden is looking so much better. I'm so pleased and the house has started to look better. A long way to go but I'm getting there.
I may make a payment later but I may not. I need to look at the budget. I'm thinking at this point some into the emergency savings and Christmas savings may be better. I have never had savings before and I'm enjoying it and finding it addictive. I really want to achieve £1000 emergency savings asap.
I will ponder today and make a decision.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

I'm suspicious of the number 13 too. Still it does seem to have motivated you into having lots to report. You're a total dynamo at present. Have a question though, have you thought of aiming for debt neutral by your birthday given that you are also saving?Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. I'll post to help you to get off page 13
You are doing really well - I am very jealous of the 7 weeks off....I could do with that!
I can't wait to start our mortgage saving - hopefully I'll get addicted to that!
