  • Hi Veronica mars, I'm a long time lurker on the diaries I love them. In particular I'm coming out of lurkdom to say how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your diary and blog - they are simply brill! Goes back to lurking.......:0) x
  • Very talented? Well I think we all know that is a lie, but I accept flattery in all forms Mummy+2 so thank you very much!

Everything I have been doing has literally to save money or revive something I already have! Got so many projects planned for when the good weather starts... IF the good weather starts...

Hi Maryland cookie - what a good name! :T What lovely things to say, thank you very much!

I want to wake Mrs Mars up and ram this computer in his face and say "see, Maryland Cookie loves my diary AND my blog!" But I feel at that point he might actually think he has lost me to the fairies and squirrels that roam my head. :rotfl:

Gotta love a lurker. It's not related, but since we are sharing...I'm a part time stalker. Seriously, I am. I don't think you believe me, but I really am... :D

Since we are on DFW, I feel I should note I checked one of my credit card statements and the balance has reduced to £2,250! :money:

inspired by Fraggle Rock, I've changed my Avatar to a Highland Cow, because if there is one thing I love, it's a Highland Cow.

I can understand you don't want any neighbours after the experiences you've had. Sounds terrible.

    Hi All :j

    Thanks for dropping in!

I actually can't describe how awful things were for a while if at first.... I have vowed that I would rather live in a caravan in someone's driveway than live like that again. People might not believe me - but I am 100% serious.

Thaaaaaaanks Staple 28! I am going to a wee wedding set for a evening wedding I could not make (I still think you should give a gift even if you cannot attend) so will TRY and take some detailed pictures. Going to go with the grey, pink and white as that was the bride's colours! Plus I think it will look good on the glasses.

Today's post though was how I melted bits of old candle and made a candle out of a jar: http://lifeatthelodgehouse.blogspot.co.uk/

    Hello DFWs!

How was everyones weekend? Here is a summary of mine:
    • I won a free dinner (and a free starbucks) - YUM (one pitiful picture on my blog).
    • Had trip to IKEA - to assist with getting my life/junk in order.
    • Fixed a brooch (also on blog).
    • Had a nice day at my parents for Father's day.
    • Went a 12 mile cycle and a 4 mile run.
    • I'm now chilling on the sofa with Mr Mars watching Red 2 with a cuppa :coffee: and some lemon pie!
Got a lot on next weeks, so here are my goals:

    1) Get packed and organised for weekend away next Friday night (sounds simple, for someone who lives life in chaos, it is not :naughty:).

    2) Get new passport on Wednesday (appointment booked - need to get pictures)

    3) Send form for new drivers licence.

    4) Send mobile off to get fixed.

    5) I have signed up for a race in August, sooooooo want to try and go running every morning next week.

    6) Weight myself. Been enjoying myself post wedding TOO much!

    I think that's it!

I stalk everyone Maryland Cookie! Anyone I want to be like. Usually frugal people I know, who I think are super cool, yet I know they are frugal with their cash... or alternatively people who are super organised. They are also in my stalker !!!!!! collection. :rotfl:
